I'd actually be kind of glad for Mato, assuming he doesn't turn into a hulking dumbass menace we have to worry about. He obviously wants to be important, and the current lordship system is hard on him because he's so close to super-saiyans that can live up to their full potential (by Exile standards) but can't tap into that well of power for himself.

Actually, since I have no idea if its been brought up, are the Other Universes from Dragon Ball Super a thing in quest, and if so do we know about the Universe 6 Saiyans?

Use a Vegetan social protocol meant to convey comfort in times of emotional distress in place of an actual hug.

Well. Technically, Social Protocol Seven is a challenge to a death match in response to a mortal insult, but I know at what the players are driving, and in this case am choosing to be a merciful god. :p
A combination of phone posting and just mis-reading the post that spawned that vote option.
Thanks for not being an asshole about it.

This seems hilarious because we're replacing a hug with a beatdown for the reason that an abused child would react poorly to a hug(which I'm starting to suspect he's never gotten any of)?

Barring GM mercy of course

Nah, he got hugs. From Dandeer.

And no, not a beatdown. First of all, protocol seven is quite explicitly a fight to the death with quarter neither given nor asked, and second, I know what you all were getting at and will honor that over the literal truth. ;)

Yeah. Especially since Poptart did not release a list or even make it clear the protocols were numbered.

EDIT:

To clarify, what I'm saying is that I don't think Poptart could possibly expect us to correctly number Vegetan protocols, and indeed they don't. Nor could Poptart reasonably ignore our clearly expressed intentions in favor of an arbitrary number designation that's never been made known to the playerbase. And indeed, they don't do that.

I recommend protocol 6
I haven't told you all protocol 6. ;)
Hard to imagine it being worse than a lethal duel, in this context... :p

Delicious and far better than the drink that has my store overwhelmed by it's hordes...

Like, don't get me wrong, I play into the white girl stereotype just fine when it comes to Pumpkin Spice Lattes but the lines are just stupidly long.

Non-Canon Omake: Effective Communications
Effective communications

Kakara stood in front of the class. The point of oral presentations was to get people over their shyness and used to public speaking. Kakara however had never had any problems with public speaking and could likely ace this presentation in her sleep. But she could do better then just get a good grade. For this presentation she was going to give herself an extra credit assignment, not just impress the teacher and show her knowledge of the subject. She had deliberately been last to pick from the available topics in order to get the one that her classmates found the most boring.

With the secret of ki out, Kakara was much more free to experiment then she had been before. With this new freedom, she had made an interesting discovery. People not used to telepathy tended not to recognize it. In fact, if you sent the thoughts quietly they were likely to think the thoughts their own. This has interesting applications and gave a whole new meaning to the saying that every conversation has multiple levels.

With her mouth she said "A fabric softener is a liquid composition added to washing machines during the rinse cycle to make clothes feel better to the touch."

With her thoughts she said the exact same thing. This had the effect of adding extra emphasis and importance to her words. They heard her not just with their ears, but with their minds.

"These products work by depositing lubricating chemicals on the fabric that make it feel softer, reduce static cling, and impart a fresh fragrance."

'[The feel of soft fabric],[The idea of static cling and how it can be annoying], [The smell of fresh fragrance that smells good]' Sometimes she would add in extra context to her words that would be impossible to convey with sound alone.

The presentation went on in the same style. This was the fourth presentation of the day. For the previous 3 presentations the class had been nearly falling asleep. For this presentation the students were all on the edge of their seats hanging on her every word.

"In conclusion, fabric softener is a vital and important part of our daily lives."

'[The idea of scratchy itchy clothing and how glad we are that we don't have to deal with it]'

The class rang out with enthusiastic and loud applause. Many of them rubbing their clothing between their fingers with new appreciation.

I concur with Kakara.

Hmm what ideas do you have to spot the scouts early? I know we have sight and machine sense, but neither are the most reliable.

I was wondering about dividing the available Space around the planet into a did and have saiyin with IT patrol it periodically.

But it occurs to me that with the cooperation of the government, we should be able to rapidly deploy drones into space that can let us cover a huge amount of space easily.

Thoughts on using that?

I think I low balled things a bit. Kakara is charismatic enough that she could likely get that reaction without telepathy. Should have done something like here going to a flithly trash covered part of town and given a speech about littering and cleanness that inspires the spontaneous formation of a clean up brigade. Leading to a complete chance of fortune for the area and raising real estate values by 30%.

Edit: Then again that would have about no chance of being made canon or compliant and I am a tiny bit hopefully for this one.
