Oddball is not about being bizarre but unconventional thinking, so I doubt that.

So. Off the wall question.

If we fused with Jaron would we have Joffer in our shared heads?

Is the fusion dance a lost technique?

Once we become a better Seer and figure out past site it might be worth trying to cast our sight back to dbz times to observe people training in and/or using varies lost techniques as a basis to recreating them.

Spectacular work. I've spent the last two days binging Reader Mode, having come over from your ME quest, and I wasn't disappointed.

I'm very worried about our character in breaking the seal and going against Dad. I'd like very much to have actions that either turn him to our way of thinking - despite inertia, he didn't initially approves of the Seal. We should reflect wholly on being in opposition with Dad and get Grandma's help. There were several hints in the text that we glosses over or neglect to solidifies our thoughts on that.

Aside from the fusion dance being a lost art that people are actually getting killed trying to replicate...

We have reason to believe that performing a fusion dance with a member of the opposite sex is... contraindicated. Unless you don't mind a lot of confusion and discomfort in the process, to put it mildly.

I especially recommend research into the Genki Dama
Yeah, 'cause you squee every time Goku puts his hands up. :D
To be fair, it's legitimately a good idea. It fits very well into Goku Style, would give us yet another reputation boost for inventing/rediscovering a lost technique, and might well be something we could use effectively with Multiform.

Say, Kakara could have one clone charge up a spirit bomb while another one immobilizes the enemy, relying on the spirit bomb's tendency to NOT destroy people pure-hearted enough to use it in the first place to avoid blowing up her clone-sister as collateral damage.

[I'm not SURE it works that way, but it might- worth considering]

Plus, it's something we could actually teach Dad, which would be such a delightful role reversal and Berra would probably in-character appreciate it a lot. He seems to have made "reconstruct Goku style as practiced by Goku, and maybe even perfect it to a higher level" his life's work, and people jokingly refer to him as "Goku reborn."

It would be like, the best birthday present.

Currently the fusion dance would not be useful to us. All it really does is get you more power which is not something we can currently use.

I'm unclear on what exactly the fusion dance does. It increases power, yes, but does it combine the users' knowledge? Would one be able to learn better by fusing with others?

That would be an interesting application. It will likely have to wait until we can direct our visions. Also until we have a good fusion partner.

Fuses two beings into a being, "greater than the sum of its parts," to an extent which I will determine once it becomes relevant. They also have the complete memories of both components.
All examples of fusion in the anime were with someone of the same body type and age.

I assume there is a reason Goku and Gohan never fused.
Apparently anybody can fuse if they can get the power levels right; it's just easier to get mirror movements if you're the same body type and age.

Apparently, anyway.

I think something of the sorts was mentioned in super, yes. Though I like to think they need similar heights, even if not exactly the same. I had even checked the heights of all Z fighters in preparation for a fic once. Not that many can fuse with the criteria.

Edit: It's been a while but if I recall correctly.

Yamcha, Tien and Hercule are around the same height. Tien 2 cm taller than Yamcha and Hercule 2cm taller than Tien.

Mirai Trunks is around the same height as Vegeta at the begining of the cell saga and at a height with Goku after leaving the time room. Goku was originally about 10 cm taller than Vegeta, which is why I never liked fusión reborn and Gogeta.

Adult Gohan is the same height as adult Goku.

Goten and Trunks we already know. Androids 17 and 18 with each other, obviously.

Then Roshi and Shen. That is about it, the rest have very different heights between each other.

I recommend Steven Universe if you want ideas on fusion. :p

That said, does the "complete memories of both components" bit remain after defusing? I'd assume not, otherwise it would be a VERY easy way to accrue massive amounts of knowledge.
