Once more reason we need to kill Dandeer.

...

So I have an idea. It's not a nice idea, but it still is one. If she has hostages, we take one of our own. Delia (Jaffur's sister, Lady Bitch's daughter) would be a perfect candidate, since she puts her family over anything else.

Although, there's still the crackpot theory that someone mindfucked Dandeer to do this.

Edit: Ninja'd by poptart to stop the crazy train

No, no killing Dandeer! Killing is bad!!

...on that note, @PoptartProdigy Does Protector still have the exception for Enemies?

Because this is slightly relevant.

Anyone remember this choice?
[ ] The Power of Learning (1 action): Quite aside from school, the human world has always fascinated you. Maybe you can learn something from them? Effect: Become a bookworm in (insert field of study) or just read as widely as possible if nothing specific catches your eye. This is something you'd be good at.

As a Seer knowledge is power, especially when you can't bring people who don't have the sight with you when you have a vision. Kakara also has the medicine specialist dream she has let fall onto the wayside. A few actions devoted to biology, basic mechanical engineering, and chemistry might be valuable.

Question for poptart, how bullshit can tech be in this setting? I'm talking time-travel tech Trunks used. And thinking tiny guns capable of destroying cities level tech.

Oh, tech can indeed be bullshit, but outright destructive tech is surprisingly limited. Why spend billions and several years designing and making a doomsday device when you could instead spend a few years' food rations on somebody who can do the same thing while being a harder target?

In general, however, the tech that the galaxy has achieved is at the point where if the galaxy would calm the fuck down for five minutes, they'd basically be post-scarce. Healing tanks do their job in minutes. The best spaceships get you across the galaxy in a day -- not that those are widely available. FTL comms let you talk to somebody on the other side of the galaxy in real time.

It's an amazing future.

Roleplay. The Fourth Monado runs a Dragonball RP involving time travel. Focused on it, even. On this very site.
Ohhhhh, that roleplay. I was confused by a feeling that quests and roleplay are the same thing just more brains behind a quest while roleplay is a more personal activity exclusive to the tabletop. I know it's not exclusive to the tabletop, just how I felt Monado was talking about time travel.

I'm still confused why time travel in this quest would be a bad thing when roleplay and quests are different things. I agree that time-travel isn't needed, but would poptart have rules in place to deal with time travel already prepared that they never intend to use?

Edit: Nevermind, I just found out that poptart is part of Monado's roleplay. I understand the problem now.

Because they A. share the same universe at semi-concurrent times, and B. also Time Travel is fucking illegal and ends with the Gods coming down on you

or my players, which would be worse

Has Time Travel ever occured by accident I wonder?

Like, the laws of physics say that FTL and time travel are the same thing. There's obviously a workaround or its different in DB, but I can imagine someone trying for one getting the other by mistake.
1. Light Speed =/= Time Travel in Dragon Ball.
2. There has been accidental time travel, but usually of the Magic/Psycic/Frieza bombing people to the past because that's totally a thing now

Alright, so, I have a question.

Back in Dragon Ball, Roshi basically electrecuted Goku in the fist tournament with a technique that we never saw ever again...until recently in DBS. While it doesn't seem to do much damage output, if at all, it seems to paralyze the people struck by it. Like Tien, when Roshi was mind control by the paper magic using chick or that one berk in the tournament. In both cases, they weren't able to defend themselves with their ki or otherwise.

Is that a technique we can learn by training OG Turtle style?
