That's better than potentially breaking the Masquerade.
The potential is small. She is obviously not very talented at using her ki, even if she has a lot of it, and will very likely not develop it on her own even if she knows about it. She also knows to keep secrets so even if she could develop ki sense, she's rather likely to not do so specifically so she doesn't blow it for everyone, especially if we ask her not to look into.

If you're really so scared of breaking the Masquerade despite the very low odds of that ever happening (if there are odds at all), then vote 'No' to training her. We're training her because we don't want to take a hit to our friendship, but training her and not telling her the risks will make us take a much bigger hit to our relationship when Dad shows up and Maya finds out we didn't tell her that would happen. It'll do irreparable damage to our relationship, unlike simply refusing her which does damage we can mend.

Just as a general note, I am transitioning to far more granularity than previously on event series like this. As the option says, you'll have the chance to get Maya to let you go to Dad during training, and you'll be in full control then, so a vote for "yes" is not necessarily a vote against full disclosure.

For that matter, the "yes" option explicitly states that you'll make her fully aware of the (non-Exile-society-related) consequences of training.

So for the people voting to train her, the only real decision to make right now is what to do if she ultimately declines even if we accept the request for training?

Not really.

The write-in ultimately leaves it in Maya's hands what to do, the "Yes" has Kakara take responsibility in control of the situation. Not that she won't take no for an answer, but it won't be a matter of, "Here are the consequences, do you want to do this?" It will be, a week later, "So, here we are. As we train, I will explain to you what this entails and why we'll eventually need to halt forward progress and decide what to do." One proceeds under the assumption of forward movement; yours does not.

Additionally, either Yes or No will entail Kakara planting her flag on the topic, as in, "this is where I stand." Leaving it to Maya, I will interpret far more ambiguously, to the point where the answer will not arise until later.

[X] Tell Maya about how Dad will eventually sense her if we train her. We can train her if she wants, but she has to understand that we might get in trouble if Dad finds out we trained her and we'll have to stop training her one day unless she wants to definitely be sensed.
-[X] If she declines training, upgrade Slacking to Maintain Grades
[X] No (You should be getting back to the party)

Just a thought, but if this is "revealing that ki sensing exists", could we also not infer that not everyone can do it? I mean, it's even true in a way. Anyone can learn to do it, but at the present time not everyone has learned and thus not everyone can do it. Mightn't we put forth that our father has incredible sensory abilities, so good that if we continue to train her he might one day sense what is going on. If we infer that it is something extra special, mightn't she incorrectly assume that it is something unteachable, something innate? (Like our seer abilities are in actuality.) And by inferring that "sensing" is an ability unique to dad, or at least much enhanced in his case, wouldn't that bring in the idea that everyone has something special (a skill, ability, or what have you) about them: something that will probably be a comfort to her if as her teacher we are constantly ahead of her in every way. (Which, let's face it, we are.)

Or maybe I'm just tired and don't know what I'm talking about.

EDIT: That being said I honestly believe if we're really going to train her, we should be up front about the consequences. Springing it on her later is a dick move.

For what it's worth, Recoome is called "pineapple head" by Krillin in the Japanese anime and possibly the manga (I'd need to check), implying that the shape of his head is very strange indeed. Which could mean he isn't human, since Toriyama is actually usually pretty good about skull shape.

But there isn't anything explicit.

[X] Yes ("Nosy Little Girl" action is re-purposed into "Training Maya" action for the remainder of the year. You will teach your friend in ki, likely causing her power level to skyrocket and inevitably bringing her to the attention of your father. You will be open with Maya about that, but as you have elected not to reveal saiyan society to her as of yet, will remain mum on the wider implications of such a discovery. If you want to convince her to let you tell your Dad, you have until her power grows too great to be missed to do so)
[X] No (You should be getting back to the party)

Or in another light, it could just be Krillin insulting Recoome, kinda like Sanosuke and that sword collector call each other "rooster head" and "broom head" in Rurouni Kenshin.

It was an aside to Gohan, not addressed to Recoome.

You don't need to be speaking directly to someone to insult them. You can call people insulting names or make fun of them when talking to others just as well as when talking straight to their face. Not that I'm saying you're wrong, mind you. I don't have the entire context of when this happened, so I can't really say either way. I'm just saying that if I heard that someone called Recoome "pineapple head", I wouldn't immediately think it's because his head is inhumanly shaped. (After all, I'm pretty sure that one of the contestants in the last chapter of the DBZ manga was drawn with a similar head.) I'd much more likely assume that the "pineapple head" remark was a poke at the fact that Recoome has a small (somewhat spiky-ish) tuft of hair poking out of the top of his mostly-hairless head, kind of like the leafy top of a pineapple.

So, to clarify, both the write-in and the default will warn Maya about what will happen, it's just that mine does it before we start training?

I think we should make the training dependent on telling dad, maybe write the excuse that we are a pupil not a master and any training we do should be approved by our master in the ki art. But the vote seem to be a fixed at this point so I'll just follow the train I like most on what's available (the write-in include the sensing ki as a possibility and I think we should maintain it a secret for now)

PoptartProdigy said we're telling her about how the training will bring the attention of Dad with the default vote anyway. The real difference is that we're telling her the risks now instead of a week later when we start the training, seeing if Maya will want to go through with it anyway instead of just assuming she will.

Yes but a week from now we will have her at the start of a teacher/student relationship and we can obscure or soften the blow so she isn't this much of a flight risk. If we tell her now we risk to overwhelm her and she could start to close up even more.

Edit: on the apsumption front we are at the start of the training anyway so she can back out without problem even then and this we we don't just spring it on her in an environment we don't control (we are at the moment in the forest of buckfuck nowhere and we didn't had the time to sort how to react to all this)

This is paranoia. Baseless paranoia. It doesn't even make sense.

Well that convinced me.

If you read his later post, you will find that the only difference between just 'Yes' and my write-in is that we don't wait an entire week before telling her the risks. My write-in saves time and leaves the question of whether we'll train to Maya instead of just assuming she'll want to train after having heard the risks.
