Yeah, I think that of the write-ins that could be for the trait mentioned in that post both our plans have 2, but I thought one of your seemed much less likely to be the one, as it had been noted to be "redundant". It's not a huge deal. And yes, while I would be fine with either plan winning as the important part is the talky bit, if the vote gets split into two halves then the third plan "Yer a ki user Maya" will win, as the two similar plans will each fail to reach the number of votes it has. I think that ship might have sailed however - enough people have switched over that right now that one's winning
. Maybe you could try finding everyone who was voting for "keep it simple" and try to convince them to switch?In fact @PoptartProdigy , could we get another tally?
EDIT: Or I suppose if at the last minute it looks like neither plan will win, you could change Compromise to be the same as Keep it simple. Or vice-versa. Might want to check with your voters first though.

At this point, I think we're just splitting hairs. 20,000 is 1/11,250 of our max masque power, never mind how much smaller it is than our regular, SSJ, Oozaru or GO forms. So we're already pretty low down in power. Would it feel better for you if the power level was lowered to 10,000? 5,000? What number would be satisfying?
But that's not why I voted for Keep it Simple. Now here's why I don't like the fighting part of Yer-a-Wizard/Compomise:
It doesn't feel like something a pacifist would do. Sure, it feels kinda like a saiyan thing to do, but more in a Vegeta/Goku love-to-fight type of way. Maybe if we still had the [Gentle] character trait, I could see this choice, but as a [Pacifist] we're morally opposed to violence. Sure we can fight if we need to, but in this situation... we don't need to. We're already powerful enough to end the fight instantly, so dragging it out to search out our opponent's power level seems quite Out-of-Character for Kakara. Again, if we were any other saiyan this would be different, but I can't reconcile the whole "fight to bring out opponent's hidden depths" thing with Kakara Goku, [Open-Armed] [Pacifist].
Actually, Plan Compromise has 6 votes and Plan Keep it simple has 5, and I think there's quite a qhile to the fight ends.
It's not that I think Kakara wants to fight, it's that I think Maya wants to use her full power against someone. Maya's the one who started the fight, after all, and fighting Maya because Maya wants to fight doesn't seem out of character.
On another note, am I the only one who wants to teach ki to the Misfits in order to make Maya feel less out of place? I mean, I don't think it'd necessarily break the Masquerade, and I'd really like to prevent Maya from becoming alienated from humanity.

You missed the single vote that doesn't reference KISS by name but is identical.
Hell, if compromise throws in a hug I'll vote for it.
@Karnax626 if you throw in the hug, I recommend linking all the people voting for KISS (including that one guy who's voting for it without the name) and asking them to consider changing their votes. I suspect many of them agree with me that the talking is the important part, and will go for the plan with the most votes.
Honestly, I don't see it making any of the others happier. Fighting's not really their thing? All of the DBZ team, even the humans, were interested in fighting for its' own sake. I just... see it as a kind of cool way to get them killed.
Maybe if the Masquerade falls?
Of course it is! She just had a very emotional moment where she laid out her deepest, darkest secret and is reaching out to us as someone she hopes is the same.
Also, they're girls. Hugging is like, a thing.

My impression of the latest update is that Maya's been suppressing a hell of a lot; trying to hide her superpowers, as well as the outlook on life her powers give her. Being part of the Misfits lets her be herself personality-wise, but I think we're the first person she's showed her powers to. I don't know if she thinks we are stronger than her or not, but what I don't want to do is crush her.
Maya says herself that she sees us as "strong, smart and pretty". Showing her that we utterly outdo her in power is something I want to put off for now, and letting her get this fight out of her system would be a good thing IMO.
Plus my PoV of Pacifist is that Kakara would be willing to engage in a fight like this if it would reduce the risk of emotionally hurting a friend of hers.
It is also entirely possible I am reading too much into this, so criticism is welcome.
I'll try and find a good place for a hug.

Okay, that first point is certainly valid, though I'd note that from Maya we can tell there's a cultural bias towards superpowers leading to running around as superheroes, even as 10-year-olds. That could get very dark, very fast.
Maya, however, is already keeping secrets. These exact ones, in fact. So I don't think that one's a big deal at all. We (and hopefully our Saiyan buddies) can be her emotional support!
Also, it's kind of a bad time to be adding more time commitments to our schedule. Try again after the alien invasion threatening our entire race and, by extension, the whole of Garenhuld if even a fragment of a message escapes. Or better yet, after that and the Jaffur thing.
They also wouldn't be 10 years old then.

Fair enough... but I'll just point back to the [Pacifist] trait and where it says "After hard experiences and a great deal of thought, you have refined your earlier opinions on fighting and violence. Where once you avoided them out of simple distaste, you now do so out of moral obligation."
So it seems to me like fighting "just 'cuz the other person wants to" is pretty much the opposite of being morally opposed to senseless fighting.
Personally, if there was a popular plan for the "Disengage and De-escalate", I'd have probably have chosen that one. But lacking that, the whole "overpower with kindness and comfort" thing comes in a close second.

It's more I can't think of a good way of disengaging without fighting, and crushing Maya would be mean (at best). Giving her what she wants is at least partially a holding action until we figure out a better way. In my head at least, this isn't senseless.
TL: DR, can't think of a good way out wihout fighting.
