[X] Keep the fight going for a bit, drawing her out step by step; before you settle this down you want to see exactly how much power Maya has socked away.
-[X] Then de-escalate.
[X] Talk about this with Maya.
-[X] Explain ki to Maya, and tell her that while she has more innate power than most, you're not sure you'd call it superpowers, as everyone could get that powerful with proper training.
--[X] Show off a ki blast and explain that physical strength isn't all you can use ki for.
-[X] In order to explain how you know all of this, tell her that you sometimes have visions of both the past, present, future and other things, and that an old man you see in your dreams (probably an ancestor of yours, as you've been calling him grandpa) has been telling you about this since you were little.
I want to give her some information about ki, both to help her make her understand it and to prevent her from later gaining some kind of superiority complex regarding her powers (not that I think this is likely for
Maya, but still, almost all super mutants seen in DBZ have been arrogant pricks).
And, well, if we want to explain ki without Maya getting suspicious and possibly finding out about the Saiyans, I think blaming it on an old wise guy we see in our dreams seems like the best bed.
"So Maya... Ever wanted to play tag on the moon?"
I don't think Maya is anywhere near powerful enough to do that. In all likelihood, she's in the low thousands, as she's probably never really trained.
