I'm really, really hoping that they're part of/involved with an entirely different hidden society of superpowered beings. Mostly for the reactions of Kakara/the Saiyans at large.

...And how that could completely derail attempts to keep Jaron in the dark about his history/the Saiyans.

Incidentally, I've been thinking of one of the cruellest things Kakara could do to her dad:

After everything has wrapped up completely in our favour, and Berra seeing everything he'd done turn to ash, robbing him of his Victory, Kakara contemptously grinds it in by going "You've always failed and made things worse. Why would this have been any different?"

Or at least something along those line. I'd write an omake about it, but as you can see, my descriptive ability is horrible. :p

Hey, just read this, great quest.

Question. Could we fix (at least temporarily) the Jaffur/Jaron situation by teaching Jaffur Fusion, and having him teach Jaron?

Jaron has projected himself into the mindscape before. So, we would teach Jaffur, have him teach Jaron, and they fuse in there. At which point.... Jaffron (being of one mind) would effectively be curse-free. For at least half an hour, possibly longer IDK.

...Alright. So, on the one hand, it's probably just due to the nature of the spell. On the other, this is Jaffur we're talking about, and he tells reality to suck it. Is Jaron a Seer?

And why do you think the incomplete Fatso-Fusion dance would work with dream astral-projections?
Why do you think a fusion of Jaffron while under the Seal would let him leave? It might but it's not garaunteed

It's like a Prison, Kakara looked through the bars and Jaron has visitation rights (is there a name for physical contact rooms that aren't sexual? Or is it still a conjugal visit?).
Would the Guard let Jaffron out? I mean, it is still Jaffur trying to leave, or does the Guard let anyone not 100% Jaffur leave?
Or does he only let Jaron leave?

We'd be training three different types of hand-to-hand, manipulating the ki within ourselves, and doing both of the above together in the form of the Combat skill. It's doing the same things that we'd do in our normal body and since we're at least Talented in almost all of those skills (Multiform is the only exception), we'd be able to spot and get used to the differences pretty easily I would think.

Yeah, that'd work. Your Masque Affinity is high enough that (by the description) you're as comfortable Masqued as you are walking around normally.

Why wouldn't it? Both of them are there in soul if not body.

It's not guaranteed, no, but it's a possibility. The seal allows Jaron to go as he pleases/is Jaron, so if Jaffron registered as Jaron to the seal, it would give Jaffur a temporary out.

Because it's lacking a body to do the Dance?
The odds of a failed-Fusion both causing a result and causing the same result when yo completely change several key aspects are tiny.

Unless it's supposed to mean "Can their magic be used to help break the Seal?", I have to object to this. It's too ruthless, Kakara wouldn't just use them for her own personal gain.

Also culture clash/keeping secrets don't tend to make good relationship fodder
 
@PoptartProdigy, you said you wanted us to teach the Misfits to use ki so you wouldn't have to write children dying. What if instead of that, Kakara used her extraordinary speed and reflexes to keep them from dying? If someone shoots a bullet, she'll just whip over, knock the bullet slightly to the side, and go back in the same physical position she was in with no one the wiser. This was how I'd imagined it going when I wrote the omake, that and also letting her friends get injured so they wouldn't feel invincible and get killed through overconfidence if she was sick one day or something.
