Again, they did fine when they met her being stronger and having, and using, IT. I can twist a child's head clean off, but that almost never happens when I wrestle with them.

It's the gesture that matters. It's playful, potentially flirty, and calls back to their earlier friendship while defusing the awkwardness of the reunion.

A few thoughts on Jaffur:

1- Sincé he has been a super saiyan for two years, does that mean he would come out of the seal as FPSS? I would usually say no because it is on his mind but given that he is using that to overpower the seal and the definition of magic they gave us...

2- If Jaffur manages to talk with Dandelor using magic because of their connection, shouldn't he also be able to talk to Jaron since their connection is stronger?

3- If Jaffur created Jaron by instinct, wouldn't that make them father and son in rather than brothers?

HAIL JAFFUR VEGETA, LORD OF VEGETA! MAY HIS (technical? theoretical?) REING BE LONG! (note to self, ask Dandeer how does it feels to be both Jaron's mother and grandmother once this is over)

4- If sufficiently trained and able to overcharge his spells, would it be posible for Jaffur to make a better ki concealing Ward than that of the Hall?

5- So that is two actions for the new year, mastering the skill to talk with him and becoming closer to Jaron so it is not weird for us to hang up with him.

He should, he is, and he does.

We were going to get closer to Jaron anyway. He's our newest friend but he's having trouble fitting in, so it's the job of all the Misfits to put in an effort to integrate him into the group.

I don't get the resistance. It's the same socialization and physicality which is the point of trading beams they both already know, plus a playful oddball bonus and a hit of nostalgia. It could even be completed in less time, allowing for a second action.

If Dad asks where we've been, we can just tell him we were experimenting with ki and managed to replicate the Galick Gun, then demonstrate it for him. We can turn a 'where have you been' into a teaching moment where we discuss the merits of various wave techniques and then we can head home for our favorite bedtime story: "The Little Lost 'X' and the Cosine Waveform".
