I agree about Betarel but if they knew how to deal with the watchers they would have done so already.
Edit: Actually, you do realize our vision will be prominent in our thoughts if we visit him now, don't you? Still have to do it since it would be rude otherwise.
This is probably how the whole seers are weird starts, regardless of what we choose. Fleeing would make us antisocial, seeing him now would make us act weird.

I don't see much of a point to it to be honest. Even if it did, I am not willing to spend time training it afterwards and Kakara has a malus to learning attacks like it. The last one won't really cause a problem for such a simple one but it is more of an indication it isn't really something that interests her.

Exchanging bog-standard interchangeable energy waves each part could learn anywhere if they were interested and we don't even know he has in the first place is a bit strained.
If you want to go this route, invent a new one together. She doesn't know fusion, but we do know that cheek-to-cheek casting can accomplish the same combo techniques.

It's something we can share with each other. Coming to Fennella with food gave us a slight bonus to the interaction (which wasn't necessary since we got a nat 100) so having a write-in for stuff to do is a good thing. It also gets us a free technique for nothing which will most likely (but not certainly) not be useful but there is absolutely no downside to getting it.
Then we won't train it. Simple as that. The primary goal out of this is to have something to do with Betarel. Sharing the signature techniques of our Clans is a pretty good way to symbolically tie our friendship together.
You don't seem to get it. This is something for us to do in the minutes we have left here before we head back. Stuff like teaching instant transmission or inventing new techniques take too long for the time we have remaining. Teaching and learning the two simplest energy waves is something we can do quickly enough in the time we have here.

If the point is bonding and throwing him off enough to let something slip, it doesn't matter if they succeed. "Hey, I had a weird idea I need a strong friend to try with!" is a lot less strange than, "Hey, let's take our time together to exchange bog-standard, completely interchangeable techniques that we could both have already trivially learned if any time we felt like it and you, in fact, may already know, for no explicable reason whatsoever."

Also, regarding people voting for Raditz to keep the seer thing secret, that may not be feasible since Raditz would have to explain how he knows that Jaron is a real person to those that help him planning things. His brother Dandeelor, at least, should be informed since he is the sorcerer that might have to counter the spell and he would understandably want a real explanation about why they should trust our word for it. Considering that he is the one who suggested killing Jaffur to undo his masque, I don't think he would take a half assed explanation about how we know the seal works this way or why it would be bad for Jaffur's mental health to just undo it.
