I think trying to knock him unconscious would harder and riskier. Harder, because knocking someone out for longer then a few seconds is hard, and riskier, because even if trained professionals it would have a large risk of death, and Kakara isn't so immensely skilled that I think she could reliably pull it off. She'd likely either undershoot(he remains conscious) or overshoot(he's killed). Same reason I don't support trying to do it with Dandeer.

You don't need to be non-violent anymore. You developed Pacifist into Protector.

I really shouldn't have watched the DMC5 trailer before coming here to vote.

I really think we should give the 'Break Mind Control' plan a try. It had two advantages. It plays to our strengths (communicative pacifist), and I don't see Dandeer having foreseen someone trying to overcome her control in that specific way. Her character, to me, reads that she wouldn't consider love and protection to be a powerful enough force. And normally she might be right, but with Berra it could be enough to trigger his foundational trait and kick him back into control.

And hell, ignoring the fight to focus on telling daddy that we love him sure seems an oddball move, and apparently this thread goes gaga over that.

If Berra can hit Jaffur hard enough to knock him out of the fight, we can do the same with Vegeta and Dandeer, and since Kakara's has been training for stuff like this since she was born, I'm pretty sure she does count as a trained professional. Also, this is Dragon Ball, not real life, and I don't think ki-trained people usually die unless massively overpower them or deliberately try to kill them (see Cell vs Hercule, Goku vs the Ginyu Force and Berra vs Jaffur, both this fight and the one during the Sealing).

1) Berra is far stronger and more skilled then us. Not a good comparison.
2) Berra was unlikely to be aiming for non-lethal.
3) We don't know how long Jaffur will be out. It possible, even likely, that he'll wake up in a few seconds. Temporary black out =/= out of the fight.

That was the vite I was initially going to go for, maiming included, but I am afraid that if we don't go distract Berra he would blow up either the Senzu, Dandelor or Jaffur.

Mind, I am not even sure he knows the Senzu bar Dandelor are doing something.
