Or someone's.
The really hard part about this vote is that I get the feeling that things quite simply can not go to plan. It would be a huge anti-climax.
This world is a largely realistic quest; not in its setting, but preparation, surprise, and ambush are all actually effective here, even for the protagonists, and we aren't going to get screwed over by the corollary of the unspoken plan guarantee.
Note that we could very well have known the truth about Dandeer from the start if we had rolled better on starting rolls, or dealt with her earlier; this wasn't guaranteed to be a climactic confrontation. The way I see it, this would be the results of the plans. Keep in mind this is largely informed supposition, not some word of QM from discord or w/e, but I think this is probably what the votes correspond to barring us missing some major info on our conspiracy being cracked or on the defenses of Dandeer's house:
[ ] Yes. Go now and extract Jaron to Hall Senzu.
-[ ] Smash and grab. Get in, remove him before anybody can notice or object, and get out.
Essentially guaranteed success, with very few moving parts; there are only 3 people who could stop us at our full power, of which are on our side and Dad is unlikely to come and interfere with
our power level spiking. It also, however, has a set consequence for how fast Dandeer will notice us and respond; only a catastrophic failure could prevent us from pulling this stage off.
Very Low Risk of Failure, Low Time Reward; there's not much chance of screwing this up but this is the baseline we'll be comparing other results too.
[ ] Yes. Go now and extract Jaron to Hall Senzu.
-[ ] Stealth game. Before you move in to get Jaron, take down the sentries. It'll give you some time before anybody can raise the alarm, and keep them out of harm's way.
Fairly low chance of us being stopped; they're not expecting this. Taking them out isn't the question, but taking them out without an obvious fight is; we have solid odds to gain some time, but if we fail our situation could become worse than that of plan 1, like if berra isn't distracted; our power level spiking is far less noticeable than even a one sided fight, and the time gained isn't a huge buff like for the lower options.
Low Risk of being noticed, Moderate Time Rewards.
[ ] Yes. Go now and extract Jaron to Hall Senzu.
-[ ] With catlike tread. Sneak past the sentries, remove Jaron from his bed, and depart with no one the wiser. Jaron sleeps in on weekends, so this will, in theory, give you the most time before anybody gets suspicious.
This one doesn't really involve our overwhelming combat advantage, but does make good use of our surprise and setup. There's a chance we'll get caught in the act, though, which is worse than the first because we'll have to deal with the sentries
after being caught rather than during, which will lose us some time; with a very bad roll, this could result in a confrontation right here, although I would expect a normal failure to not end up
much worse than vote 2.
Moderate risk, Great Time reward.
[ ] No. The moment isn't right just yet.
Wildcard option, effects depend on subvote and rolls.
Various Risk, various rewards (including rewards of types other than time, such as public support).
[ ] Multiform. Bear in mind your limits on this skill; today in particular, they will be important.
Increases the success chance of this stage, at the cost of removing 1 of our uses if we end up needing it later.
Reduces risk by some amount.
