Not gonna lie, I'm very worried about the inducing superpowers and research AI actions we've taken

Both can very easily backfire and I really think we should've waited till we had a good Learning Hero Unit to assign to them before we risked it

I don't believe MiH is going with that, because DVV generally discourages merging the backstories of the media thrown into it. It's very easy for things to get mucked up in a confusing puree of conflicting time tables and fan theories if you say the things were "always" connected, which we tried at first and that exact thing happened.

That is a fair point, and a problem with megacrossovers. To really make a crossover work, you either need to align the settings as best you can, or make it a plot point that they conflict. Judging by the "paradoxes", you and MiH seem to going for the latter.

Eh, it was just a bit of fun speculation anyhow.

Yeah. If we really wanted to make it "work", the best choice would be to handle the media in broad strokes and adapt them to a new setting where they can all play nice. Though you would lose a lot of fidelity and the ability to make jokes about the differences.

Like Hego! By Incredibles standards, he was doing a pretty bad job at keeping his identity secret. Nobody discovered him anyway until Shego pointed it out for you.

Did Violet ever learn the Miss Invisible trick of creating forcefields inside somebody to blow them up? I ask because an invisible undetected assassin sounds just about perfect for a lot of stealth kill needs.

... hey, I just had a weird idea. What if, if/when we get tickets to the gala... we invite Most Hated Enemy Shego? I mean, while it would be a hard sell if we asked her, as she might not even meet us... but, Hego could probably give her one of our tickets. Of course, that's assuming she'd want to go, either just to piss of Syndrome with her presence, or so she can cause some chaos. Either way, it would draw attention off us. Plus, it might even lower the diplo action regarding her and Drakktech, while also pissing off Syndrome even more.

... though, we'd also undoubtedly loose a spot for one of our heroes.

I'm down for giving Shego our tickets. Honestly, I was contemplating letting her in on the heist. She's evil and 'most hated enemy' but she's also competent and fair(ish), plus she hates syndrome more than us

Edit: and honestly, I don't know if all of our heroes need tickets for the heist

LOVEMUFFIN and Wile E. Coyote. Inducing superpowers.
I expect this to go either horribly right or horribly wrong.
I am still convinced that this is a Very Bad Idea. That's why I proposed the 'rebalancing risks' plan.

Wait. Are we inducing superpowers into Wile E. The only superpower I would give him is the ability to speak.
Since he is seemingly immortal and already regularly survives being dropped off enormous cliffs, being blown up by bombs, and comically terrifying incidents with jet-propelled roller skates... well, giving him superpowers might not be so noticeable? :p

I have a little theory concerning the Goof family in DoofQuest, figured I'd post it here.

Earlier there was discussion on the conflicting canons of A Goofy Movie and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The sadly departed Mrs Goof (Goody's wife and Max's mom) is, well, sadly departed. But Toons can only die from Dip, right?

The solution is that Mrs Goof wasn't a Toon. She was an anthropomorphic animal, from Cape Suzette or Zootopia. This would make Max a half-Toon, and explains why Goofy was/is legitimately worried for his son's safety: as a half-Toon, Max wouldn't have the full benefits of the Rubberhose ability that makes Toons nigh invulnerable.

As for the cause of Mrs Goof's demise? Could be anything, from dramatic stuff like anti-predator police brutality to mundane things like disease or a heart attack.
I don't think we should assume that toons are literally immortal and exempt from death by natural causes, to the point where we make deductions about what "must" be true about the setting.

Especially when dealing with characters where their backstory includes a death in the family.

Also, Shego might quite sensibly worry if the gift of a ticket was a poisoned chalice. Syndrome doesn't seem to like us, but he hates capes. Any capes that end up in his power are very likely to end up dead. And while in-thread we aren't really considering it, Shego has to consider the possibility that we've secretly contacted Syndrome and are conspiring with him.

"Oh hey, I bought some tickets to an event being held in the stronghold-capital of a murderous supervillain who hates you and everyone like you and would actively enjoy causing your death! I hope you will accept this invitation to travel with someone whose territorial ambitions just happen to include your capital city!"

Shego is Not Stupid. She would probably just file her suit talons for a moment and make a sarcastic quip.

Isn't Shego, like, half Doof's age? I'm interested in cultivating her as an ally/frenemy, but that... no. Just, no.
It's implied to have been several years since the events of Kim Possible. Shego was a college graduate by then, so she's probably at least approaching thirty by now, if not older.

I don't know how old Dr. Doofenshmirtz is, but I doubt he's in his late fifties or sixties.

Well according to the Kim Possible wiki Shego is in her 20s-30s (probably 30s) and Drakken, the closest thing to a love interest she had, is in his mid-to-late 40's

What age is Doof? 47

This proves that Shego has a thing for older mad scientists and that Doof/Shego is a completely legitimate and legal ship

Thank you for coming to my TED talk

Eh.

Shego is able to pass for a high school or college student a few times, as I recall. I think it unlikely that she's more than thirty at any point in the canon run of the TV series.

:p

Honestly I can't see her getting together with anyone who is themselves flighty or impractical, which describes most stereotypical mad scientists.

Yeah, we probably will need to do Shego's diplo action before we actually try and invite her, and also make it quite plain that we don't have any plans to ally with Syndrome. And, even if she still doesn't trust us, pulling off a heist/ruining Syndrome's gala should make her realize that, yes, we were trying to honestly invite her.

I'm very much against it! We supposed to fight her not... flirt! She stole half of OUR Colorado! She will suffer!

I mean, we could becone co-rulers of the Tri-State area. With her focusing on areas besides the Tri-State area.

Also, on the topic of Shego as a love intrest... if we don't want to fight her for control of the rest of the Tri-State area, marrying her would be mutually beneficial. Not only would it give us, and Shego, complete control over all of the Tri-State area and the other states Drakktech control, we'd also unlock at least two hero units, Shego and Drakken.

Of course, while people have already pointed out problems with that... no one has actually pointed out the Doof might simply not want to get remarried. And that's before you add in how Charlene and Vanessa would react.
