So long as humanity is fracture, disunited, and earthbound, the GalFed likely won't see us as anything more than children. They're worried about us nuking ourselves extinct. If we're going to establish normal relations with the aliens, it will be through diplomacy, not military force.
We'll need to wrap our velvet glove of diplomacy around an iron fist of violence. Both is far better than neither.

Let's wait until we get all our new hero statblocks before we assign people to Hawaii. We should probably wait until the turn after next anyway, as someone pointed out, because we want to investigate Doomtown.

Just did the math and if we send Goofy and roll above 37 there is a high chance of crit success on Xanatos. Who knows what that could give us?

We're two and half states. The GalFed is, well, a federation on a galactic scale, with multiple planets to call upon. Whatever resources and military might we can draw upon, they can field infinitely more without even making a drop in their reserves. To challenge the Galactic Federation with might is folly.

Brute force is useful elsewhere. But if we are to achieve our aims concerning Hawaii, it must be with trickery and/or charm.

(I'm not factoring magic because right now we're an absolute novice at it.)

So, trying to make a good Martial and Intrigue team, which, incidentally, includes a high Diplo score. Anywho, ourhighest Martial heroes, right now, are, obviously, Genghis Khan and Norm, while our highest Intrigue hero is, obviously, Russ, our highest Diplo hero is Goofy, and our best Stewardship hero is... Karl. Who I don't think goes on quests. And, while I imagine the Khan has a highish stat for that, he doesn't speak English. So, the next highest Stewardship hero is... Goofy. Yes, really. And Russ is, from the looks of it, our primary learning hero without Doof. Soo...

Possible teams:

Russ+Goofy+Norm+Genghis Khan+Monagram and Karl:
- Martial: 14+21+36+55+17=143 with either an extra +8 or -2 thanks to Norm, as well as an extra +10 from Russ' spy bike, bringing it up to, at max, +161 for each martial/combat roll.
- Diplo: 16+28+10+2+9=65+5 if Russ speaks with legitimacy from the goverment. Doubt it will pop up, but, anything is possible.
- Stewardship: 10+16+6+2+0/14=34(Without Karl)/48(With Karl)
- Intrigue: 36+6+1+18+18=79+5 from Russ when uncovering info and covering our tracks, so, for most of this, the score would actually be 84.
- Learning: 15+9+8+2+9=43

I'll update this later when the new heroes get their sheets. But, this team currently has a ridiculous combined Martial stat, a great Intrigue stat and Diplo stat, and meh stats for Learning and Stewardship. Of course, this is assuming that we bring five heroes on this quest.

Anywho, I suggesr we actually hold off on this and do a few things, like teaching the Khan English, upgrading Norm's Intrigue stat, and also trying to build up support for us in Hawii before we actually go there, while possibly meeting Agent Kobra Bubbles.

Where those bugs once interstelar? Or something? Honestly all other species are more endengered

Blame Agent Kobra Bubbles. The GalFed wanted to do something to the Earth, then he convinced the Chairwoman that mosquitoes were an endanged species and saved the world. And then she promptly forgot about Earth as well, and was willing to blow it up when Stich landed on it.

I'm thinking martial eliminate organized crime and intrigue investigate Doomtown.

Organized crime probably allows for Doom to attack us easier, and raises public tensions which could also lead to anti toon sentiment.

+161 for each martial/combat roll.
The only stat added to a roll is from the quest leader, and whomever has the highest value in that stat besides the quest leader.

Dennis is searching for Donald. Who's been missing for ages.

Hawaii which was believed destroyed, isn't!

And finally no one has had access into or out of Hawaii in years. Hmmm... I wonder! Will we be finding a particularly angry duck-like hero unit from the Hawaii quest?
Just because Dennis is really bad at looking for Donald it doesn't mean Donald is in Hawaii! This isn't Maui Mallard you're talking about.

Only the team leader and highest other hero stats are included in quest rolls. So in this case the quest team looks like:

Martial: 36+55= 91
Diplomacy: 16+28= 44
Stewardship: 10+16= 26
Intrigue: 36+18= 54
Learning: 15+9= 24

This is assuming we put all our best heroes on the quest rather than on other rolls.

Gas the planet, but otherwise yes. She ordered the extinction of all life on earth in order to kill Stitch without even a second thought.

Ah, thanks, forgot she said gas the planet instead of just ordering it destroyed. Still, that show's that, without the GalFed believing that misquotes are endangered, all it would take for a uncaring GalFed member to gas the planet would... basically be a Stich level threat.

Really? Ah, I didn't realize that. Sorry. I'll make sure to remember that for the mext time I do this.

Going to mention again, we haven't seen Hego's stats or Dennis's, plus any other heroes we might get next turn. I think we should wait before assembling a team.

Trickery. The USA made them think the bugs were endangered to protect earth.

Edit: trying to brute force them isn't going to help. They are bigger, more advanced and believe they know best.
No i mean how are they endangered? What makes them diffrent from all the other species that only live on this planet?

Out of universe? They were most certainly picked at random for the jokes that could be told. In-Universe? They were probably the one think Agent Bubbles knew weren't ever going to go extinct, so the Earth would be able to use them as an excuse for the rest of eternity.

Next turn it is almost going to be guaranteed that Dennis will have Find Donald as a personal action. If we put Goofy on it as well will the rolls stack? I am asking because there is a good likelihood of getting both Mickey and Donald soon and considering their history they might have a trait when together that makes certain quests WAY easier.

However, it should wait for the turn after next. Having Russ on the action to investigate Doomtown is going to be a lot more time sensitive.
I don't think we necessarily have to have Russ on that Doomtown action, I wouldn't be surprised if the DC for that action got lowered a little as a result of the sudden influx of Toons moving to Doofania from Doomtown and remembered that Monogram has a trait that gives a bonus of +10 to any action to infiltrate/oppose a villain
By the way, who's directly to our northeast? I have trouble with the map colors because I'm not great at associating, say, different shades of green with 'teal, aquamarine, money green, and green' or whatever.
I think it's Nauticaa? It doesn't look ultramarine to me but all the other greens look closer to the other shades
I think we should try for two diplomacy actions per turn first.
If we're doing that then we should improve our AI first

There's no way we are getting Mickey or Donald any time soon, whatsoever. Those are two very important characters, Donald especially so within the context of Gridlocked. We have options to search for either character at this time but that doesn't mean it won't be a serious undertaking with long-term repercussions in the event that we find a hint of them being anywhere within the next few years.

Getting Goofy at the start was a gesture of grace from what fluff is available and what MiH already hammered out from their own Gridlocked campaign. An exception and definitely not the rule for bringing the trio back together.

I'd say the opposite. Doom is probably more guarded about his operations than he was before if the DC has changed.
