You'd have to give him some pointers, of course, his original one had just gone from slide to slide with a few key point. Boooring. You'd told him no, it needed cool transitions. And stuff to look at. Every page should be full of pictures and graphs and detailed explanations at least a paragraph long.
I'm not completely caught up yet but, as of September 2015, this is officially the most evil thing Dr D. has done.

Unexpected Fallout

"Hello everyone! To those of you just joining us, we've been discussing the Kronos gala with a panel of experts. The disastrous outcome of the Kronos gala is still the talk of the nation, and the situation continues to evolve even months after the event itself, with a new CEO in place, and Vegas still reeling from the aftermath, despite gambling reaching an all time high.

It seems that every time the footage is reviewed, some new detail emerges. Most recently, one detail that escaped the notice of most reporters, in search of more sensational news, has now been uncovered by our own Daisy Duck.

The CEOs of Drakktech and Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated were also in attendance, despite not receiving an official invitation. To make it even more interesting, the two of them arrived together, and according to numerous sources at the gala, were on a date together. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Shego make for an unusual couple, but the two of them seemed to make quite the impression on the guests before more exciting events pushed them out of the spotlight.

Since unearthing this tidbit, speculation has run rampant. There are only two reasons someone as rich and powerful as Shego would deign to have a date. The first being as a means to solidify some sort of alliance between Doofensmirtz Evil Incorporated, and Drakktech. Such an alliance could have major repercussions that would echo through the economy, but it isn't the only potential reason.

The second possibility is that it was purely a social choice, that she arrived not as a political or diplomatic statement, but simply as a woman in love. It would be unusual, but not unexpected. Shego and Doofenshmirtz move in the same social circles, and have plenty of chances to interact, not to mention a shared interest in building up powerful conglomerates, and are able to understand the problems they both face in their daily lives. That could be more than enough to form the basis of a bond, and who knows what could have been happening behind closed doors!

It's wonderful to see that even the upper echelons of power are human at the heart of things. Everyone here at channel four news wishes the happy couple nothing but the best. We look forward to seeing how your romance plays out!"

--- --- ---

An explosion rocked Drakktech headquarters, accompanied by a scream of inchoate rage. Shego's fury was too powerful to be contained by even the reinforced material of her workout room. It wasn't just a few people in the know who made an honest mistake anymore, her 'date' with that... Doof was now public knowledge. Known to every major player in the game, from the US Government, to the kings, to every last wannabe looking for a weakness to exploit.

On one hand, there would be plenty of cannon fodder coming for her, expecting that romance would turn her into a helpless damsel. It would keep her sharp and make the days a little less boring. A few of them might even go after Doofenshmirtz, modern times did allow for a helpless hunk or two, and it might simplify things a bit if they succeeded, but it was a long shot.

But on the other... everyone was going to be watching the two of them like hawks, searching for any sign of one option or the other.

And the worst part of it was she had to go along with it. If there wasn't clear evidence that their appearance at the gala was just a date, then the government, and the other 'kings' would assume there were ulterior motives, that they had planned something at the gala, or were working towards something bigger. The rest of them would work to keep the balance, which meant coming after both of them. Shego was confident that she could handle most of the people operating on her level, but if they came at her together... that would be an entirely different story.

It was the lesser of two evils, but that didn't make it any easier to swallow. She was going to blow through the monthly repair budget coming to terms with it, but once everything she could reach was blasted to smithereens she could figure out what her next step would be. Maybe she could wrangle a way out of this, she was one of the most powerful people in the country, and had an army of people with every specialty under the sun. If there was any other option available, they would find it, and then she could put this whole, annoying mess behind her.

If not.... Plasma surged in her hand at the thought of it.

Maybe it would be the yearly budget instead.

Oh yes yes I do

See this is what I mean. Don't get me wrong girl is great for many things we need I just don't think she's a great choice for being with us to meet a fellow king

if you're expecting dignity from ducking Doofenshmirtz you are sorely mistaken the best he can accomplish is surprising competence.moreover she is currently our best occult specialist and our second best combat hero with the boost she gains from Doof troop.

not to mention having someone with so much arcane might in our employ will raise us in his estimation even if we are ... eccentric.

I wouldn't be surprised if Xanatos starts treating Doof and his forces like they are all Toons. Comedic but indestructible and occasionaly super competent.

Shrug.

It's a magic auction. She is the only one we've got with a occult score unless doof gets done reading the book. And her score would be way higher than ours regardless.

I'm sure Xanatos understands the necessity of having qualified help even with eccentric personalitys.

Edit: ninjad

Sadly she's our only Occult person. And without her it would be tough with some Occult rolls that there are. I'd be more worried by Xanatos's Godly Intrigue tbh. We might end up being not as lucky as we did at Las Vegas. 1 point off him noticing us...

The difference is we're not hiding anything we are putting our cards on the table for him to see. We want him to see we know magic is a thing and we even have a powerful magic caster in our employ. We want to off load the work of to how to handle us entering the magical community to him to cause as little a disturbance as possible.

we're not trying to start shit with him. We're not trying tohide anything. We are being as above board as it gets because there's no one better at under the table shinnanigans then him. It's really the only way to deal with him. Because trying to outplay or out think him is an exercise in futility

My main worry is that trait of jannas that could make her just bail for 2 months.

The auction would be a pretty terrible time for that to happen for multiple different reasons.

I really hate this feeling. I have Trials from the Past and Future all ready to publish, but I want to be sure if Interlude: Licensed to Kill has anything relevant towards Kung Fool.

Honestly, I am a bit confused why there even is a discussion going on aobut who to send to deal with the "Resistance".

Max is simply the best option, since not only does he benefit from his trait that makes talking to teens easier, thanks to the low DC that trait *on its own* will cause Max to suceed on a numerical level - meaning that barring a Nat1 auto-fail or some nasty stuff inhibiting him, he *literally can´t fail on this task*

Meaning that it´s not a question of IF HE SUCEEDS but instead HOW HIGH HE SUCEEDS...so in the end Max can essentially relax some more and still get us the win almost instantly.

So yeah, if we take that option, Max is the best Hero unit thanks to his trait and because of him being a Toon, he is almost impossible to hurt - let alone kill - unless those rascalls got paint thinner on hand.

*Meanwhile in DEI building*

Doof: " why do I feel like I need to build a Bunker-inator"

Even despite all this I still think that we should open up talk with Sheego on secure channels...if nothing else, then to hash out a formal non-aggression agreement with her.

Heck, Xanatos and Shere Khan should get the same tretment from us...pays to explicitly not have them plot our demise, you know?

They need more than paint thinner Dip has a bunch of chemical compounds in it

True, but paint thinner still could act as a mild irritant to Max´ "skin layer" without killing him...also, "hyperbole" is a thing, you know?
