Ah...that would be awkward, good catch. I'll fix that. I'm willing to hear suggestions from others on what to do with the spare free time

But what's the opportunity though? We can outright miss the event, and save our actions to do additional stuff.
We are currently the deranged lunatic from the tri state area this is a great opertunity to change that and be taken seriously.
To expand on that we are considered a crazy fluke and laughingstock by everyone, the other villains, the government, and the general public. Now our actions are going to slowly change this but this event is a great way to force everyone to take us seriously and upstage Senestro at his own game becoming the top scientist in the nation. Or at least considered in among the top. It is noted in our diplomacy options that we are limited by no one taking us seriously this is our best chance to change that.

Then again, there is value in having others believe that we are not a threat. Revealing our hand too early is a bad decision.

As Sun Tzu once said "Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak." (Art of War)

Do we want this? Being taken seriously is a danger because that means people don't underestimate us. Sure it kills our recruitment options and diplomacy choices, yet it seems certain people are more than willing to overlook this. Just look at Xanatos and that low DC roll. Does Xanatos really seem like a guy who would underestimate us?

Let's be underestimated for awhile. Though we don't have many Diplo options now, we have to much on our plate. Let them focus on our rivals while we build our power base up enough to acutally be able to fight back.

They cant prepare for something they know nothing about.

Let's stay underestimated and ignore the party.

We should buy Disneyland, and build an amusement park in Doofania.

Yeah, I agree with everyone. The longer people treat us like a kooky pharmacist, the longer we can get stuff done without enemies making it more difficult

Sure but this event is not until I think turn 7. Plenty of time to set up. And there is a difference from being considered weak and considered not worthy of respect.
