[ ] Attempt to distract Abigail
[ ] Offer to move them to a better dumpster with more pizza. The rats will be unleashed upon the Danville Underworld. You are capable of making sure they don't bother any of your citizens too much. Except Candace.

Clearly, we need to give the rats fedoras and make them agents. Welcome, Agents R1-R26! 😜
On that note, I am slightly concerned about the idea of sending Monogram's agents to actively assault Abigail. Potentially VERY useful, yes...IF they're successful, big if. She seems like a high DC check, and i'm worried about what she could do to Monogram or his agents if we fail. I checked over past updates, she has an Intrigue of 18, a five point difference is just barely on the edge of reliable...

Speaking of the past, i'm retroactively curious which defenses were contributed by Lao Shi...

Kitsune Diplomacy Check: Convince the Rats
DC 110
54% CoS, 96+, 5-
98+30+11+10 (Offering What You Want)+12 (Now You See Me)=161
Critical Success!
Kitsune deserves a nice shoulder massage for all the carrying she does.
Perhaps she would like a lair?

[] Attempt to distract Abigail
Not seeing a meaningful downside. Either we fight her here or we fight her later, likely in a less advantageous situation.

When possible you should endeavour for your problems to become your enemies problems.

Even if we roll poorly, Kitsune dice always remains a constant

Leaning these two? It's a distraction contest and outside other factors Monogram has 23 intrigue to Abigails 18 (we saw that in the mosh pit) so we have at least a slight edge, even more if Abigail's lack of modern knowledge comes into play

As for the rats...either this or DEI HQ, but I think one more problem for the underworld that we don't have to put effort into is a good thing

if we recruit them in DEI HQ we could maybe have them added to monogram OWCA from time to time giving him a bonus
also depending on the distance they can comunicate as a hive mind they could be secret communication system if they accept

[ ] Attempt to distract Abigail

[ ] Play it safe and keep watch

[ ] Offer to move them into DEI Headquarters. There will be a hive-mind of rats eating garbage in DEI headquarters. Employee morale will move laterally.

[ ] Offer to move them to a better dumpster with more pizza. The rats will be unleashed upon the Danville Underworld. You are capable of making sure they don't bother any of your citizens too much. Except Candace.

[ ] Offer to move them into the explicably extensive tunnels beneath Danville. Scott the Undergrounder will have company. Lizzy will have an inconvenience.

There is a twenty-four hour moratorium on voting. Vote for individual options, not in plan format.

Pretty clear preference to Distract Abigail on the first vote, but as for the second vote...All of the could benefit us

- Moving them to our HQ gives us the best control over their actions and probably another layer of security

- Chucking them into the dumpster allows them to combat threats like the remains of the Kat Mafia directly...although them needlessly bother Candance is a bit of a bummer (girl really needs her space)

- Moving them into the sewers/catacombs/whatever beneath Danville would be fun for all the Skaven-related reasons

Any ideas, guys?

DEI HQ can lead to some fun shenanigans, unleashing them on the underworld against the cats could be interesting.

But giving them them control over the subterranean tunnel system could give them an opportunity to create a rat city / society underneath Danville, which I think could be the most interesting option.

...All too fitting for DOOF to get a chance at creating Skavenblight^^

… I want to recruit the rats.

I´d wager that Moving them into DEI HQ would give us the best shot at achieving that.

I say bring them to HQ. Lots of potential fun interactions, anyone breaking in could meet an unexpectedly terrifying encounter, and just imagine what Janus and Jumba could do with them!

....wait, that last one might be a downside. Oh well, I'm still for it!

It's so funny to me how Janus still clearly thinks he's in "well-intentioned extremist" territory, while working with Jumba, a man who embraces cartoonish supervillainy with reckless zeal. The man needs some development.

as it stands, my votes's on
[] Attempt to distract Abigail / [] Offer to move them to a better dumpster with more pizza
pulling a distraction off will be sucky but letting her meet back up would probably be more sucky, and doing this option might not even require violence.
monogram also is willing to act indirectly/try to avoid being found out so we have a fair shot at maintaining that advantage, so i say go for it. there's a solid chance of being discovered eventually so might as well get use out of things while we can

because I've been reading a warhammer quest before this I was immediately trying to make skaven jokes, but I didn't even consider this part!
seems a pretty cool-good option since they're relatively out of our hair and lizzy could make friends with them, but if they start breeding and there gets to be lots of them i can imagine it would be a very painful-tricky situation

moving them to HQ would give us more control over things but also be a issue in our hair unless we can get them to be less inconvenient, which would be a tough sell and something we might not get actions for. though if we have greater plans with the rats like having them join NOWCA it'd be nice

[] Offer to move them to a better dumpster with more pizza gets my vote unless we need to worry about the masquerade. more chances for them to interact with other characters and they probs won't expand as wildly with competition (while serving as a bit of a check for all other inconvenient forces)
seems the main appeal is being a medium distance away? They're far away enough to not be causing major issues for us specifically but we can probably still meddle/bribe them with pizza, and plus it gives them enough space for the "locking them in a car" grudge to hopefully go away.

"Bwahaha! Latest evil experiment is designed to spraying large amounts of tapioca pudding everywhere! Will cause enormous mess and be inconveniencing traffic!"

"Excellent! One more step to perfecting the human genome complete!"

"Er...is little monster spraying pudding. How is this improving human genome?"

"Don't you see? This can help solve world hunger! Mankind producing its own food supply without using huge tracts of land, increasing global warming or bankrupting the already impoverished! You'll help me implement it, won't you?"

"Eeehhh...sure. We are doing that next Tuesday perhaps. Sounds like big fun."

Shouldn't Candace be going to college? Or have a job? She was 15 in canon which was the summer of 2014 iirc. We are now midway through 2018.

So long as they can fix the sodding hiccup glitch then a few crimes against nature and or US law are a small price to pay.

You know your a mad scientist, when Jumba is the one confused about how this is supposed to help.

He places his hands upon his hips. "It's been a long time since I've seen something like this. They're smarter than normal rats to start, and their minds are linked together. They can coordinate, probably distribute thoughts. It's dark magic." he muses, lingering on the last phrase as if he wished to elaborate.
For those who are not up to date on their contemporary Disney Media: The "Dark magic" in question originates from some croissants that were cursed by a witch because she tried to pay for a latte with a racoon and got the cops called on her.

Marylin is now banned from that cafe.

Like that will stop her from getting tangled up in things somehow.
Fun fact: By canon, according to the timeskip episode, she ends up going into law. She did her dissertation on investigative techniques for establishing proof of guilt in the absence of physical evidence...In other words, how to bust someone if, say, the physical evidence of their actions were to vanish the instant you tried to show someone. Hypothetically. :p At least she put those years of wasted time to good use, I guess?

Trying to distract Abigail with two NOWCA agents is a risk I'm not sure we should take.
To be fair, that would probably be an Intrigue check, and Abigail is quite a bit behind Monogram's own score. That said...Yeah. Actually...
[ ] Write-In: Report back to Blake and tell him your plan to distract Abigail: see if you can get any relevant info about her to make it work.

Maybe this could let us add some Intrigue to help out?

might be possible, but time's of the essence right now (and I think this post shows that monogram takes travel time moving about in the mirror dimension). if he goes back for info we could be dealing with a malus or have to roll to see if we still have the chance to distract or so. just something to be aware of.

it could provide useful info and help with other stuff like possible diplomacy, but at the same time Blake might have already told what he knows/not have anything. hard to say

this is pretty cool, but could you say what franchise are the rats actually from? haven't seen it mentioned yet
