That 'AI' voice and behavior last update kinda makes me think that there actually is no AI and Doom is instead somehow manually managing all of those cars. Seems within the bounds of a powerful Toon doing a super-crit and it would mean that any such car is also a spy, which is a fair tradeoff for having to listen music he doesn't like sometimes.
"Kaiju! Is, I believe, the common term." Doom said, beginning to pace simply because it was necessary he do so. "Foreign term." He sneered. "Yet very evocative to the youth, they say."
While it wasn't a great movie, the Mighty Joe Young remake had some great effects on the gorilla. Giving him a tragic death in DQ means he really goes back to his roots as a follow up to King Kong.
Of course, the whole "we shot the ape and now everything sucks" meme takes on a new meaning these days...
That's the butterfly that made this bad timeline. Mighty Joe Young is killed and suddenly a sapient hat is running Florida... Actually, that isn't out of the norm for Florida.
In the Big Hero 6 TV series Fred uses his rich people money in order to commission a fully functional Kaiju Mecha based on the fictional Kentucky Kaiju franchise.
He might still have built it in this timeline or perhaps will build it after a few personals.
Okay, I know he's technically a muppet but the Wilkins coffee mascot is basically the template for an evil toon, it's no wonder the Judge is a fan (perhaps he is the Wilkin's coffee guy in disguise? Roger Rabbit never established his original identity in the movie, though I know some other versions of the story did).
Nah. The original script says he's "the guy who killed Bambi's mom". If I had to bet on who he is in this quest, assuming they bother and don't just leave it as a "Nothing Is Scarier" type mystery...Well, there is some symbolism that suggests he was once one Pistol-Packin Possum, a fictional Toon we see a poster of in the film. He's the only Maroon toon who doesn't appear in the movie. When Eddie's interviewing Maroon, he looks at the PPP poster, and attention is drawn to the reflection of Doom's gun, which matches Possum's own. Possum has blood-red eyes, a fedora, and, as a rodent-type character, he'd probably have a high squeaky voice...Hm. One could even presume that may be part of Doom's motive for being who he is: Perhaps he was an early star who was supplanted by younger, more successful acts, like Roger, and went down a dark path. For reference:
At this point it seems likely that Sycorax plan consists of three primary components:
1. Create superpowered monsters, likely by transforming human supers.
2. Gigantify the monsters using knowledge gleaned from Mighty Young Joe's corpse.
3. Control the super kaiju monsters using an adapted version of the insect control tech they want to collaborate with us on.
=>4. Profit and/or World Domination

I personally like the PPP as the answer in verse as the out of verse semi Canon? Answer of " baron von whatever" is alot less interesting. Heck maybe the weseals were his pack when he was Packin? Might be a way to investigate who doom really is if/ when we discover he's a toon

And we can do that by going after Doom. You know Doom, the person we've been actively antagonistic with and just received intel is doing something big right after making an unprecedented leap forward with his AI programs?
Honestly completely fair. We're kinda pulled in too many directions at the moment. Some time to focus on just one thing and build up our own stuff would be great.

Infiltrating Sycorax I think has priority over Doom since, well, San Fran is set to explode and we'd need to prepare to send an evac team for Wendy if necessary. Maybe not Mez if she is messing with Supers though.

Infiltration takes time to become really effective that we can't necessarily afford before the timer runs out on helping Wendy, though. It's really too bad that the Zaibatsu is the only decentralized Kingdom, otherwise we could infiltrate Sycorax and have someone try to get information on Funtelligence at the same time.

We still can do that. We get two Intrigue actions a turn. Three, if you count Monogram, who, thanks to Agent Alphabet, is actually pretty good at it now.
You know, if we ever get to Ally state with David, we could always let him be the infiltration guy while we act as the Overt Eeeeeevil Army that just happens to stop a lot of nasty things out there.

Recent events...I like David. I want him as an ally, and I CERTAINLY don't want him as an enemy. But I don't trust him. At least, not THAT much. Keep your guard up around him, whatever you do, even if you're his ally.
