Well, that's probably why Bellweather's reaching out to us.
What makes you say she isn't interested in curing genetic diseases? Just the fact she hasn't done it or is there something else?In any case, here is what we know about whatever is going on with Sycorax.

Additionally it should be noted that Liv's drug learning hero has a -50 to -75 Loyalty.
Was that confirmed on screen or are you taking the public "knowledge" of his death as fact.
I mean i was basing it off the shrine made in his honor at Bueno Nacho and the dialogue from that scene. Was that confirmed on screen or are you taking the public "knowledge" of his death as fact.

In retrospect, I wish wed had a chance to use Tony a bit before his timely demise. Would have made it more impactful. But there hadn't been much call for the NY underworld yet, and we had like 30 other characters to introduce in that plot, so... eh. We did what we could.
Mr Big taking over from Bellweather could be better but probably not by much.Bellwether is somehow being defeated without the players having to do anything
I think Judy is still at the farm, being a sad little bun bun.
No, I believe the 'family friend' is actually Judy Hopps. He declared her such after saving his daughter.
If he's not dead, for some reason his death was faked in such a way Hego believed it and I find him being dead more likely, though in this universe you never know. Was that confirmed on screen or are you taking the public "knowledge" of his death as fact.
It wouldn't match how things went down in the confrontation with Bellwether. So if he was referring to Judy, either the museum confrontation went differently or Mr. Big found strange evidence. I am inclined to believe that Hopps got mauled by Nick rather than getting shot. No, I believe the 'family friend' is actually Judy Hopps. He declared her such after saving his daughter.

The most likely possibility of what he was referring to in my opinion is the otter whose disappearance Judy was investigating. He was an associate of Mr. Big after all.
Wait, what? Was that a thing in the movie?
-Amara is NOT interested in healing genetic disease.
-Amara is EXTREMELY interested in Lizzie's method to control or train bugs. And possibly things that ain't bugs.
Gotta say, but all that seems to be painting a concerning picture.
The original Amara's problem isn't a genetic disease. She is infected with self-modifying adaptive organic nanobots called parasynths. Conventional treatments won't work.Mirage offered a collaboration in genetic disease and was immediately shot down.
It'd be pretty embarrassing if you went to show off your new expensive exotic wool rug to your wealthy friends and associates only to be informed that it is woven from the hair of a common skunk and not an exotic albino unicorn mink or whatever Nick came up with....yes? He seemed hurt by Nicks stunt with the skunk butt rug to an extent that just feels *personal* and not just *good business*
