Well, even if we don't make Cruella the leader of the black ops team I could see us making a Jumba style heroball with her and some minions to help her pull off schemes and such

So we should probably make the black ops group with Technor, Juniper, Mez, and Wiley for more marital focus.

Edit:

Red Feather has more martial than Mez according to the cards, so perhaps
Technor Juniper Red Feather Wiley

Save Mez for a Cruella-ball, also great as a solo intrigue unit and decent diplo unit in the meantime.

Waiting to put Technor in the ball is a good point, But It's also kind of a slippery slope that could be used to justify waiting until they've all finished all their personals. Technor isn't going to finish his mech suit any time soon and Heroballs are supposed to be the next big thing. I've been getting the sense that they're kinda like NOWCA; like, "you'll be kicking yourself that you didn't do it sooner" if that makes any sense? I don't think waiting 2 or three turns would be catastrophic, but I'd rather not do so, and Technor probably isn't going to just take personals until the mech suit is finished.

How about this? We assign Technor to personals to build the mech suit and assign Juniper, Coyote, Liz, and Mez to help him build his mech suit. That gives us a sense of the synergy. And if the thread agrees with you that Liz should not get hero-balled, then it lets Liz make more friends which is something we want anyway.

EDIT:

So since we want Khan on the council we should not put him in the hero ball.
Maybe Juniper. Lizzy and Mez should probably be doing other things. Technor really doesn't have anything to do for a couple of turns anyway (Martial is handled by Khan and Norm, Intrigue Mez and Tobe, Stewardship Moseby and Roddy, Learning he is honestly outclassed by the Specialist (Jumba, Alan, Wendy) and is Equal to Lizzy. Really he only has Diplo has a potential major sink right now.

So, currently we are voting for Wile E. as our Martial counselor. I mention this because had I known I wouldn't have suggested Wile E. in the first place. If we don't include Khan (because we want him unlocking the second Martial Action) the two options with and without Lizzie for specializing in martial become:

Lizzie, Technor, Juniper, Mez; and
Technor, Juniper, Mez, Red Feather.

I am against using Liz in the hero ball since she's a member of the Marcnificent Few. And before you say "Let's just break her off", the only reason she's in such a state is because we haven't been using her right, like we did with Hego and LOVEMUFFIN. We either didn't use them appropriately and/or the dice rolled poorly in our favor, and as such, we lost those units. I feel like cutting Lizzy out of the Marcnificent Few will have consequences down the line, so I'd rather invest in Marco-Lizzie personals than just saying "Screw it" and dumping her in the hero ball. If we really want a Martial-focused Black Ops team, we should focus on recruiting Martial-focused units

Do note that we can still use Coyote even if he's the councilor, he just leaves the council. And I definitely prefer Coyote over Red Feather for a martial-leaning Black Ops ball.

Nystical does raise a good point that Red Feather's Martial is apparently higher than Mezmerella's but Mezmerella has a combat-specific Intrigue trait for her hypnosis that I think puts on a more than equal footing in combat, so I'd keep her in over Feather as well.

Honestly, depending on where Norm is on his psychological development when we make the Hero Ball, if we still aren't ready for Khan to be a Councilor, we could stick Norm there. It has to be after he develops true AI though.

I still think putting the Khan on the council is a bad idea do to how brutal he can be. The thought of Norm being on the council amuses me greatly, so I would support it.

I can't find the quote, but I believe we've been explicitly told that Norm as not qualified for the hero ball. We straight up cannot put him in it.

We might want to consider putting all five of the Marcnificents on a personal to search for star together if you guys are really serious about not letting Lizzie out of that group. Tom needs as much socializing as Marco. And Kitsune needs greater attachment to them.

Thats Fair. Getting Lizzy to help find Star with Tom, Kitsune, and Marco would be a nice bonding experience. I was mostly saying that after Norm is actually sapient enough to make decisions not related to Platypi we could have him take Wile's Council Seat if we send him to the BO team. Right now he is completely unqualified for that type of Council Work, but in the future he might be.

Can we put Technor on recruiting Cruella?

So @Penguinbowler brought up a really good point in the Discord. The memory Gun from the Society of The Blind Eye is what Killed Bill in Canon. We should probably try and get that. We should investigate the cult next turn.

While that's technically correct, the memory gun worked that way because Stan sacrificed his memories. Since Bill was inside of a mind, its like trapping him in a burning building. It'll do the trick, but it required someone to be good enough to trick Bill Cipher and came at a great personal cost.

I'm not saying trying to find a memory gun is a bad idea. Its just that the memory gun alone won't be enough to stop him.

Man, if only we had a savvy operator, that Bill was invested with messing with, who has an amazing sense of duty and self-sacrifice, and who would be both willing, and able to trick Bill into his mind to have it erased.

I feel like we do, and his name's on the tip of my tongue, but I just can't seem to remember who he is.

Maybe the Society of the Blind Eye got to me already?

I think Russ could do better than a metaphysical Hail Mary.

How to Kill Bill:
  1. Get Gomez competent enough at building Magitech for his inventions to survive the wear and tear of CHAOS
  2. Make a magic laser cannon
  3. Make a flubber generator.
  4. Hook up magic laser to flubber generator
  5. Shoot laser at Bill.
  6. Pray universe doesn't collapse/explode due to energy output.

I'm... pretty sure that that would be plan F. For... well, I think you get the idea on why it'd be plan "F". ... And no, I'm not talking about the Flubber (generator or otherwise)

Magitech might be the way to go, because Learning is probably Bill's weakest stat considering he is canonically trapped by math.

Summery of plan M (Math):

I'm finally free! Now no one can stop me!

Long division homework appears in front of him.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
