Something we could do next turn is send Technor, Juniper, Mezmerella, and Wiley on the quest to get the declaration of independence.

It's looking like they are our best shot for a Black ops team right now, perfect being the enemy of good and all that, so testing how well they work together, and how much they like working with each other would be critically important information in choosing who to put on our black ops team.

Monogram has a surge of local crime to stop anyways, but he could also be the 5th member (of the quest team, not the black ops team) if available next turn.

QM comments on black ops:
You currently cannot edit or create heroballs until you take the 'black ops' option.
"Can we have 5 on Black ops? Would there be any thing to consider with a 5 person vs 4 person team?"

Yes, but you're likely to have diminishing returns, both narratively and mechanically, the more heroes you have in a ball, unless they fit together really well.

Hm...Sounds neat, but A. I really do think we should send Monogram himself and B. The QMs said that option text is getting updated next turn, so i'm not gonna commit to anything.

Weren't we going to sent Janna and her crew on that one since we suspect that's magical Nicolas cage from the sorcerers apprentice and not national treasure Nicolas cage?

This is the first time I've heard that idea (sending Janna and her crew on the Declaration Quest). I prefer the black ops + Monogram option. Give Monogram a chance for character development and do a beta test of the black ops group.

Monogram definitely deserves to go, it was his completely unexpected (and by that I mean... actually unexpected) success that unlocked the possibility in the first place.

My main opposition to the idea is that it takes a turn Technor could be building his mech, so it delays Black Ops despite your convincing arguments as to why we shouldn't.

I'm fine with taking Wiley as our fourth member (even if my first pick would still be to recruit Vladimir Keitawa or Roman) but I don't know if I'd want to delay heroballing, even for a cool team outing like this

The idea here is to just use personals on the mech/on upgrading gear as a whole, and Heroball much sooner, instead of waiting to finish the whole mech, which would take a long while.

Negaverse-B: A Synopsis of Syndrome Quest
Negaverse B: Syndrome Quest, Live from the Sands Gala
Negaverse B: Syndrome Evelyn Quest – Monkey Paw
I was considering making a sequel to this, showing Evelyn Quest deliberately choosing to let Sinatron take over again, given that they already had the idea in my head. But I wanted to ask if you wanted to do it, given that you already have a much better sense of this Negaverse.

i been thinking and in the eend i think that maybe we should just leave, like really. Her stats and traits make this fight Bad, one bad roll and i bet we are going to lose a Hero, or something more.

We are already losing anyway, we should just pull a Xanathos and decides what we can win with this .

edit. Sorry its just this keeps remind me to when we lose Ross the Op and Gm, keeps insisting us that we shouldnt enter the Elevator, and that it was bad.

Now they have been giving us hints that dealing with Evelyn is dangerous, and it will all go with a roll. and for what i understood of Circuit breaker Hero card, we are dealing with a Bomb, and its about to finally go boooom...

I say for the writers of this Quest you have make me feel very invested reading the last updates. I feel bad for Winston and Sinatron, even if they are just Npcs, of this Quest-game. And this Last update have been so Good.

In a vacuum I'd say maybe, but in this case it isn't really winning, especially since in this case
1. It makes DEI look really bad for … well, straight up ditching
2. It absolutely also makes Evelyn look significantly more credible that there is dirt on Mirage leading into…
3. Edna Mode is right behind us, and ditching now will get her on us until maybe the end of time.
4. It also probably isn't great for Mirage's mental state.
5. We also can't really guarantee that she won't say stuff after we leave.
Staying is a risk, but we're already up on martial, and Evelyn's both taking penalties and on her last legs, so we're probably at least fine.

It looks like her trait defeats people instantly instead of outright killing them. So someone might drop from the fight but I doubt we would lose them.

I'm hoping that holds true for her brother but that might have been a narrative death and he is just a squishy normal human.

Come to think about Olympia NegaQuest, there might not be anyone left to lead Olympia after this. Think about it: both Sinatron and Winston got Circuit-Breaker'd, and may or may not be dead right now, while Evelyn will hopefully be defeated at the end of this, however that works out. So, assuming both Winston and Sinatron are dead, you've got both the King of Olympia and the two most prominent successors of said King being taken out in one event.

I mean: A. I'm pretty sure Winston's alive. B. Sinatron...We can rebuild him. We have the technology.

Olympia probably still has some hero units and is a publicly traded company. The board of directors (If any are still alive) could theoretically elect a new CEO. They could decide to wind up the company (i.e sell off the company assets, distribute the proceeds to shareholders and shutdown the company). The company assets might also be temporarily or permanently seized by the government. The company might get investigated and then sued or fined into oblivion.

If we still have the option of performing a hostile takeover of Olympia then the DC has probably changed.
[ ] Attempt a hostile corporate takeover
DC varies depending on the corporation. Olympia Corp DC 310, DrakkTech DC 325, Xanatos Enterprises DC ???, Khan Industries DC 300, Glomgold Enterpr 200, Bakaemono Corporation DC 200, Cloverleaf Industries DC 300)

I am considering a write-in action to at least purchase some amount of their stock, if not outright controlling assets.
