Exactly, so Red Feather is still my pick.
Well, agree to disagree then. If nothing else I'd think a character as interesting as Red Feather deserves more focus than she could really expect in a heroball, especially one with teammates as loud, entertaining and attention-grabbing as Technor and Mezmerella.

Part of my reasoning for not wanting to put Red Feather on Black Ops is precisely because I find her so interesting, I'd rather she got the chance to shine as her own character, maybe build some team trait with Mirage.

Honestly, I don't disagree.

The issue is that I feel that way for all of the people we are talking about making the heroball with.

I don't want any of them to lose any potential spotlight they might get but apparently that's the nature of the heroball.

So if the choice is losing focus on characters I enjoy or never making the hero ball... I feel people are going to make the heroball just for the better stats, in which case why not give the black ops team a black ops specialist.

Well why can't we both have what we want then? We hire both Red Feather and either Vlad or Roman, with Red being a hero of her own and the other filling out the heroball? I didn't get the impression you or most people cared about those two as characters as much as I do.

That way I get a character I enjoy hired, even in a reduced heroball capacity, when they might otherwise have never been picked. You and all Red Feather's fans get Red Feather in full spotlight. We all get a heroball with a great fourth member. It seems like everybody wins there, no matter which character you like most.

Honestly, why not put Tobe on the Heroball? I know we like him and all, but his stats and particularly, his traits are very well-suited for a black-ops Heroball.

Haaaaaaaaaard pass on that. He's too useful as he is now as a solo-operative, not to mention he's kind of already a heroball as it is. He's earned his way into being considered one of the favorites, and his personals are all pretty useful that shunting him into the Black Ops Squad isn't worth the loss of them.

A lot of Tobe's fun is in how he interacts with his Vagabonds. Shoving the four in a group with Technor and Mezmerella would mean they'd be cut out.

Also it would cut down on Mr. Moseby interactions.

And on another note, @Paddywagon Man your arguments have improved substantiality since the last argument about Keitawa. I would still prefer to hire Miley Stewart and Red Feather before him, but I'm willing to see if he will work.

Well, we're going to have to bite the bullet on someone. We were 28/30 on the Hero Cap before we hired Mr. Moseby. We literally can't afford to bring in two more outside people to finish the Heroball.

We can bring in Red Feather next turn to work as a diplo and intrigue hero for the time being.

We also have the option to increase hero limit.

We will need to wait at least 3 turns before forming the black ops team for Technor's mech which gives us the option to increase hero slots and recruit someone else for the 4th black ops slot if we end up deciding not to use Red Feather for black ops so she could give various diplo and intrigue units a break to do personal actions.

She would be useful solo as well as in black ops, although mostly everyone, including myself, prefers her for black ops.

For the current plan we would only need 1 more person for the Black Ops, the current idea being Technor, Mezmerella, Juniper and a forth so for the black ops we would only need to recruit 1 more person.

Another thing I heard was the idea to do the single use National to increase our Hero Cap by 5 so we still have space for surprise heroes and to give us time to let the members of the Black ops team do some personals before being Heroballed

Idk there may be some weird magic thing where scrying as a friend/ally would work when as an enemy would fail. Anyways, I think we should focus on magic theory first anyways to buff up Doof's occult score.
I mean, in the Disney canon, what examples do we have for scrying? For Gridlocked I can only think of Malf scrying the heroes in his episode. With Classic I can only really think of opponents scrying each other.

I think we should try and clear the name of Bonkers Bobcat soon. The DC has increased from 120 to 150 and I don't see that being due to Mirage being in charge. Letting it set for a while seems like giving Doom time to build a better frame job.

We flat out did not have the option to commedize our supply chain this turn.

I think it is safe to say that Toons aren't Mirage's area of expertise.

Given how infiltrated DEI was after floundering in infosec for basically the entire game, I think we should consider doing a security sweep once an in-game year. They won't all be as successful as Malf's, but we had let that slide for a long while.
