Damnation...

I was all ready to try and push for Rebecca but after this update...

Moseby this turn and red feather the next.

Grumble. Darned update with its characterizations.

Or the occasional time we're forced to interact with a bigot. Especially since she's got decent Intrigue for noticing stuff in such an event.
Her stat line seems pretty weak to be quite honest, but on the other hand, I think she might bring in some pretty nice traits focused around the music/entertainment industry, plus some nice synergy with units like Phineas and Ferb, Wendy, Juniper, Max (via Powerline), and frankly, Doof himself.

I can agree that our Diplo game is worse than Stewardship, or barely breaking even because Doof himself shores up our Stewardship, but we have a range of powerful Martial units, and our Intrigue engine is pretty solid if not amazing. Diplo is either our second worst or outright worst stat.
That's the opposite of what I meant. In order from best to worst I would rate our stats: Learning, Intrigue, Diplomacy, Martial, Stewardship (Discounting occult because it's an entirely separate field we've barely tapped, even if we do have some interesting stuff going on)

Let me Explain
I don't think I need to go into detail about how a base 38 + 40, 38, two 30s, and a host of other situational boosts puts our learning in the stratosphere, (as an example, wendy's 58 on robotics)
In terms of Intrigue, we have a Floating action (even if it recently got a debuff) and a squad of decent focused heroes, Tobe, Mez, Mirage, Janna and Kitsune all do solid work in the field, we have access to the Dickens Detective Agency, and Olivia stats are great even if she's not around as often as @*$^%
In Diplomacy we have Technor, Kitsune, Wendy, Mirage and Janus all as solid options with Goofy as a dedicated slot. While we could use a Prince in this category (technor's a generalist ad Mirage has other demands on her time) we have a variety of options with decent COS
In terms of Martial: we have two Very solid physical fighters, in Khan and Norm, but Khan is limited by the fact that going loud isn't fantastic for national actions (and most of our martial nationals are tech upgrades or "Assault a rival" which is a risk we are reluctant to pull the trigger on) and Also the fact that we haven't completed the DC 170 action for our second Martial action. We have a decent range of 20-30 units for questing, but most of them don't have the temperament for martial nationals and the rest have demands on their time (jumba has the 4th highest, 28, but I highly doubt he's gonna be pulling off assault a rival or Corporate Sabotage
Finally Stewardship: Stewardship has Roddy and P+F certainly, but has the Smallest group of mid-rangers, and most of those midrangers have a separate thing pulling them away from doing stewardship. We recently got the 1 shot marvin which is solid, but we're lacking an organizer/central authority figure for the stat aside from Roddy who is A, worse than any other leader in their field (29 base, compared to Khans 55, Technor's 33 Mirage's 30(and #*$^%'s 40) and Ludvine's 40) and has lower loyalty(15, shared only with ludvine, who has the stats and others in the field to afford it, everyone else is at least 25 without decays) , other stats for options like Quest leading or other useful traits like Captain Doofania or Ludvine's incredibly useful Omnidisciplinary. That's why I'd rate our stewardship as most in need of shoring up, it's certainly not unfixable or actively broken, but it's noticeably harder to fill slots for than any other category

I'm all for Moseby, but in the interest of actually contributing something to the thread...

So, what are the odds Rico's working for Glomgold?

Bluestone could be a good resource against Bill, when the time comes.
That's a pretty good point. He's a conspiracy chaser who's actually had some pretty good success, so I wouldn't be surprised if he has knowledge of some of Bill's catspaws at least, maybe even a few clues about Bill himself. My main worry is that he might be similar to Russ in that he won't tell us anything his superiors want hidden from us, in which case we'd have to first convince him that we'd be a useful enough ally against the Illuminati to risk letting us in.

EDIT: Also, keep in mind that Xanatos is a member of the Illuminati. While the idea of him having actual loyalty to the Illuminati is laughable, working against the Illuminati might put us situationally at odds with him.

Yeah, I'm definitely leaning towards hiring Moseby now, Red Feather soon. Miley is kind of tempting, especially since Diplomacy and Intrigue are a very good pair of specialties to have in one unit, and the music focus could be useful too.

But.

We could really use help in the Stewardship department. Most of our good, our even decent, Stewardship units have some sort of issue, whether that's P&H's only being available for a third of the year, Roddy being largely an architectural specialist who is a bit of a freelancer at heart anyway, Mirage and Wasabi having better, or at least other, things to do with their time, Allan Bradley still clearly doesn't trust us... yeah. And that's not to mention that we're Dr. Doofenshmirtz. We've only recently pulled our Stewardship out of the minty abyss, and it kind of shows... everywhere. Our corporate structure can most kindly be called chaotic, our finances have a tendency to fluctuate wildly, and we largely function as a governmental body because everyone smiles and nods at us when we say we do. We improved our corporate efficiency by freezing ourself in cryostasis for two months. We need help, and between the two Stewardship focused heroes we got, Moseby seems the least concerning, the most capable of handling our insanity, and the most entertaining. And I'm not even familiar with him, I'm just going off this interview.

Pretty sure Red Feather is Gandra Dee.

Assuming she's telling the truth about no plastic surgery their beaks and body types are similar. With contacts, red dye, and a new hair style she could pull off the look.

She worked for F.O.W.L.. Turned out to be a good person in the end I think.

And was into tech and nerd stuff so a video game character in a virtual reality simulator in duckburg at f.o.w.l.s secret base would probably be something she knows about.

I mean, I'm pretty sure if Jumba wanted to assault one of our rivals, or sabotage a corporation, he'd just sic half a dozen Experiments on the poor fuckers. They'd never know what hit 'em, and he'd get his mad science jollies. Win-win. :D

At this point I feel like Mosby and Red are hard locks, they make the most sense, AND have some serious meme potential.

I can already see the song omake about how 'No One Can - Like Mosby~' ala the Gaston song now!

It's not "unreasonable" but he only has 3 experiments at the moment, the B-series aren't working for us, unless something major happens in Seeds

from best to worst I would rate our stats: Learning, Intrigue, Diplomacy, Martial, Stewardship
And I agree with you on everything except putting Martial behind Diplomacy. We have two Martial heavy-hitters on Khan and Norm, then a wide selection of high-to-mid 20s Units, like: Marco, Lizzy, Wasabi and Juniper, Technor, Coyote; and Tobe for quests.

In Diplomacy we have Technor, Kitsune, Wendy, Mirage and Janus all as solid options with Goofy as a dedicated slot. While we could use a Prince in this category (technor's a generalist ad Mirage has other demands on her time)
Meanwhile on Diplo, the only dedicated Hero we have is Goofy, and at 28 his score is not that high (and nowhere near Khan's in Martial), while everyone else on that list is either a quest-leading generalist or a strong specialist in another field that we've been using for Diplo as an emergency measure.

Hm, I want to write a 'The Real Reason Doofenschmirtz Was Nerfed' Omake where he basically makes the Infinity Gauntlet and it's Stones and Phobos, Toffee, and Bill actually wind up working together to take him down before he learns how to use it properly, with the end result seriously messing up the world and basically resetting the setting, Doof being nerfed as a consequence of being a squishy human at ground zero of a near-miss of the universe suffering critical existence failure, hence the timeline being a Gordian Knot.

Unfortunately, it's not clicking in my head beyond that outline.
