I´d say that any King who has been lobbying against the SRA (like us, Doom, Glomgold and I think David as well - not so sure if David did join that "war front" in any capacity) would lose a lot of public support at least.

Huh. You know, having this happen with Mirage at the helm might just be a best case scenario for us. Now, with this being a quest, Mirage probably won't have too much of an effect, but considering how much of a "work from the background" type she is, that might not actually be the case. If she does, though, and some form her Titanomachy trait applies, we are going to get a major edge here.
Also worth noting, I've been worrying about Evelyn setting us up as the Screenslaver. That's going to be difficult to do if Doof is provably in cryogenic suspension when this goes down.
