Yep. Mechanically, it seems that Wendy would be our best hero unit for AI-based Learning actions.
Fluff-wise? Technor seems the obvious choice for that specific action. Then again, he's... weird, so that might not be the best idea.

CJ with an AI programmer should be Javascript. No idea for Norm, but there's probably a pun somewhere among the many things about programming that I don't know.
 
As far as doppelgangers go, let Wendy make one of herself.

She would be able to easily profile herself and would notice anything off and when we make the full doppelganger she would be most likely to get insights into the process and might help us figure out what's going on with the AIs.

She would probably get some kind of bonus for having her doppelganger help her research or do her teaching show.

If it goes well I can only imagine making more doppelgangers would be easier.

Sinatron isn't Frank Sinatra. Sinatra's dead; no physical thing or information-theoretic pattern of his could have made it into Sinatron (unless ghosts are involved, which I doubt since we've had not a whiff of the occult in the whole process).

Sinatron isn't a fork of Frank Sinatra. He's just a really, really good Frank Sinatra impersonator who happens to be a robot. The only ethical problem I see is if Syndrome would have owed Frank Sinatra's estate royalties or something.
 
If we get good enough at the AI Doppelganger thing, we could probably automate it so that DEI would always have a backup Doofenshmirtz.

The viability of having technor study wendy instead of wendy studying wendy is dependent on two factors; how likely she is to pitch-in on her own, and how much will she be able to help.

Considering her demeanor, her enthusiasm with robotics, and the sheer gulf between her and Technor's knowledge of the subject, I'm willing to be the answer to both is "Very".

I still hold to the theory that setting Technor to psychoanalyze will unveil hidden benefits. Perhaps a solid roll bonus based in PSYCHOLOGY! or a low-key built-in Therapy Session.

But if we're gonna pull a Robo-Rogers out of our hat, NOW'S OUR CHANCE.

Crit on a dopple-character like that and we've got a Diplomacy King for a unit.
 
Technor's frim grasp of psychology will a be MASSIVE boon for higher end Artificial Intelligences, since he'll a able to provide a great baseline for human-like behavior.

We can roll WAY over a crit if we do this right, and sadly the inator makes it so that crits dont get better the higher you go (I assume)

Edit: also building a wendy with information from psychoanalysis sounds like a confidentiality breach

...Which would accomplish WHAT, exactly? Doof doesn't seem mentally ready to confront the fact that he never truly wanted to win (which he would need to before he tries ringing up Perry), and Perry can't speak English. Or any vocal language other than Platypus.
 
To resurrect Perry, in any way, shape, or form, is to confront our past, instead of desperately trying, with all our strength, to keep it buried long enough to forget about it, and make a world where the past never has to happen again.

I cannot think of a less Doofenschmirtz thing to do.
