Boundary Passage is cheap and costs us only two turns. Spending on both great library and classical law and we're in for a world of hurt.

As I said, Boundary is alright. We may not want a Diplo option for overflow reasons though, and we've got plenty of other projects to do besides. It would only take us two turns if Mega Support worked on it, but that's not going to happen because it'll be working on Law, Library or Canal for the foreseeable future.

We have a lot of culture drips for the other two and will be getting more as cities come online, and the majority of the Myst is refunded. May pick one if needed pending math analysis.

I am not sure why some go for Festival, but be advised that it will not give stability.

I worry for our overflow, but if it's fine, then BP is fairly inoffensive.

I am really not sure here - there's a lot of cool options.

@Academia Nut, will our MP support build megaprojects on track?

I'm thinking of starting with something like:

[] [Parl] Cement Production Subsidies (Main Increase Cement Production, Patricians disapprove)
[] [React] Farm (Sec Expand Econ)
[] [React] Farm (Sec Expand Econ) x2
[] [React] Judge (Sec Enforce Justice)
[] [PSN] Main Plant Cash Crops - Textiles (-2 Centralization + Costs)

That gets us to:

General
Diplomacy 27/27 [+4]
-Intrigue 4 [+1]
Economy 24/27 (+1) [+1+4]
-Sustainable Forests 33{40}/34.5 [+5]
-Econ Expansion 13 [-8] [Overcrowding Min: -5]
Martial 7 (+1)/39 {37/40}
-Light Cavalry 6
Naval 1
Wealth 25/25 [+7]

Cultural
Culture 27/27 [+6]
Mysticism 23/27 (+3)[+3]
Tech 15/27 (+11) [-5]
Prestige 122
Stability
Stability 3/3 (optimistic)
Legitimacy 3/4 (regular max)

Organizational
Centralization 7-9/10 (should be 12)
Hierarchy 8/10
Religious Authority 9 {12}/13

That gives a baseline to think about GA bonuses. We can't afford a Materials Tech.

Economy Per Turn [+9+4]
+5 Vassal Tax
+8 Baby Boom
-4 Forestry Repeat
+4 Trailing Forestry Repeat
-(9-3-6) =0 City Consumption

EE Per Turn [-16]
-5 Vassal Tax
+4 Forestry Repeat Refund
-4 Forestry Repeat
-3 Forestry Passives
-8 Baby Boom
+0 City Consumption

+13 Econ, -16 EE
3 LTE loss per turn. This is a serious issue.

Why not both? Again, they are the natural narrative combo of "Start a new set of Laws and start a Library to house them, among other things". Those are basically the megaprojects to take together.

Let's see. We're looking at 7 culture and 7 mysticism combined before refund. Classical Law needs two more libraries for full culture refund.

I'm thinking of starting with something like:

Why cement production when we're going to finish the Dam next turn?

Other than cement I'm not super stuck on any of these, especially the React and PSN. For those it would take about three words to get me to switch.

Why cement production when we're going to finish the Dam next turn?

For exactly that reason, so we'll have had large quantities of cement available in the most critical phase of the dam project, when we're actually building it rather than preparing the ground. We know that Cement gives bonuses to projects. I want that bonus for the dam, otherwise we'll miss the opportunity.

I think this will mean we'll get a better, safer dam than we would otherwise.
