Action votes are a mess right now, gonna wait for things to consolidate a bit more before weighing in there, but like hell do I want us tied closer to the Storm Ymaryn.
 
I wanted to go for Restoration or Balanced + Great Dam, but that's apparently not in the cards. I'm just making do with the vote as it stands.

Running the two together isn't ideal, but it beats Mass Levy and I'm hoping that our provinces will interpret "actions in support of a megaproject" rather broadly.
But... why? You are basically using a Player action to build the Dam, thereby the provinces from taking that action. Why would we trade a player Main away to gain a Province main?

Just FYI, province under mega support will do a dam action even if it causes starvation; apparently dam abandonment is worst. :V So do check econ math if you are doing a plan.

I'm partial to @Sivantic's plan, but I think we can do better. Retraining, people! Drain Martial to gain other stats!

Oh hey, that does consume econ expansion...only 3 per each, sadly, so the whole exploding cities thing isn't averted quite yet...we'd have to hope for a plant cash crops action in the midturn or a Gilded Age bonus that consumes EE and even then refunds will be an issue.

Would you mind approval voting for War Mission - Highlanders x3?
Right now, the willing combination has us integrate Txolla at end-of-turn while sending only a single main War mission at the Highlanders. One more Secondary for the war isn't much, but it is something, and if you are voting Levy I imagine it is something you would prefer; no?
 
So does your modified plan avoid the whole exploding cities minor issue?
Haven't done all the math, but it should be much closer to saving them than integrating Txolla would be, since it uses Retraining instead.

But ultimately, I just think that restoring the cities later is pretty easy, compared to neutering the HK later. Remember, popping cities by having lots of Econ Expansion just means that people are going, Wow, look at all the open land! Let's get ourselves a piece of that! Not all that terrible really. I'm more concerned about Econ than Expansion, and it should handle that just fine.

"Like hell I want X," in common parlance, means "I do not want X." Thus my statement parses as "I do not want us tied closer to the Storm Ymaryn, i.e. the hybrid of the Storm Wolves and the Western Ymaryn." Ergo I am voting for the alternative with the greatest chance of winning, which is also probably what I'd prefer in a vacuum anyway, as I'm no great fan of the Patricians either.

Two approaches are either:
1. Go full tilt, remove Highlanders.
2. Do several war missions, hope it is enough to remove them from Lowlands, leave alone otherwise.

Either has upsides. Voting is hard.
I...think that we can remove HK next time they get annoying. @Academia Nut , how much forces does Alyxohgodhowisitspelled think he needs to competely remove HK from the Lowlands? Will he need Levy for this part?

Assuming we take megaproject support and we don't spend any on a dam in King's Actions, we will only spend 2 econ by having a secondary action for dam doubled to a main action?
 
Could we try a Terrify if we switch off Mass Levy?

Their order trait should have procced already if they are really burning the candle on both ends. If not, losing their lowland territories and the religious upheavel should do a number on them.

Alyx reputation so far might give a serious bonus a well. Or we use Intrigue to open the gates.

Two requests concerning this vote, if you don't mind.

First, could you also approval vote for "[][Secondary] War mission - Highlanders x3"? That is the vote that is actually contested at the moment, so it could really use your help.

Second, would you object to swapping to a Main Restore Order and double secondary Great Dam actions? Right now, the RoO secondary is the runner-up for our 6th secondary despite us having a main RoO already - and that would drop our legitimacy to 2. We obviously don't want that. :oops:

My count included GA income. Our income of 12.5 from Salt and Trade and the -12 from Maintenance cancel out among themselves. That leaves the +4 from our Redshore Market (the only Market in a free city and thus the only Market standing), and +3 from GA, for a total of +7.
 
Huh. Just a thought, can our policies complete Block Housing in Blackmouth even if it isn't a currently a True City? This will have drastic effects on our EE threshold situation.
