As long as nothing else disastrous pops up, we should be fine.
So basically "make them actually mean it when they say "as long as they learn to keep clean, it is fine, I guess."? That's possible, yeah. But i'm pretty sure thats already what the People say, just not how it actually plays out, same as how they say that Half-exile is a punishment for crime and meant to aid the half-exile in question by being spiritually cleansing, while in actuality it can be much much worse. It is. What I'm saying is that I see taking refugees as tempering that trend in cases when it applies to refugees that follow our cleanliness practices.
Basically it adds on "as long as they learn to keep clean, it is fine, I guess."
Super temple is lost, unless we get lucky on a survey.Thunderspeaker territory needs to be colonized ASAP. Not only is the pass important, but the civilization who controls those two rivers basically controls the entire lowlands without even needing to set foot in them. Plus, there's that sweet natural super-temple, and the Star Hammer might even still be there.
Is it, though? "Cons: The impure and unclean must be eliminated" this doesn't seem forgiving. So basically "make them actually mean it when they say "as long as they learn to keep clean, it is fine, I guess."? I think you mean the star axe, and AN said it was destroyed long ago - either rusted away or melted down for scrap.Thunder Speaker territory needs to be colonized ASAP. God, how long has it been? What will we think if we actually find it?Super temple is lost, unless we get lucky on a survey.
Also, Marche is probably better than colony. We need to defend that pass, after all, not settle it.

'Maybe he has a point? The ancient records did say that people thought it was crazy to ride horses at first after all. If we were to breed the sheep as we do horses...''IT'S OBVIOUS! THEY HAVE HORSES, BUT WE HAVE SOMETHING BETTER!'
'What? We do?'
'SHEEP! WE SHALL RIDE OUR FLOCKS INTO BATTLE!'
'...Right, we'll do that then. Hey, you know, I heard there was a tavern that was giving out free beer.'
*Patrician surreptitiously hands coins to guard, guard leaves to find tavern*
'I KNOW WHERE I AN NEEDED!'
'...Gods dammit, being king sucks.'
They rolled a nine. And before you say 'Oh the dice for this must be different from the system used for absolutely anything else', the 'predictions' for similarly low rolls were garbage like "purge the monotheists". Don't listen to garbage rolls like this, it's the priest pushing their viewpoint.[X] Pursue the survivors (War does not end)

I got to admit, finishing the Patrician's quest by taking in the nomads is kinda hilarious, considering the main idea behind that was supposed to be that the patricians would make up the core of our cavalry.
Instead, we just get the nomads to do it for us.![]()
Nah, AN clarified that the nomads will be joining the religious orders, and the priests will be watching them closely. It's less funny when you realize that that is going to be because a large chunk of the patricians are now going to be composed of former nomads.

All of our cavalry is holy order cavalry. Is there a difference between normal cavalry and a holy order cavalry?
That's not how it works. The spiritbonded are a holy order, not a patrician making career. The patricians want more because they are under their command and are a place for their excess sons, not because it makes patricians.
Well, that or walls.Patricians also wanted this because the war leaders among them correctly realized the value of light cavalry, and that we really need it to be able to deal with the nomads in the future, I would say.
I more or less expect their next quest to be "Ponies, yet again!"
I know. I just want to know if there are mechanical difference. Other civilizations won't have a holy order of light cavalry, but we do.
