You realize the bonus is only if international games finishes this turn, right?[X] [Main] International Games
[X] [Secondary] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] Expand Forest
[X] [Guild] Plant Poppies
[X] [Mega] Upgrade Best of the Best toLife of Arete
Narratively, what we are doing wouldn't be remotely close to a Universal Military Service requirement; we have nothing close to the number of military "spots" in our armies that would satisfy that. Also, it would require at least two secondaries of Mains each turn.Statwise, that is horrendous. Narratively, a Universal Military Service requirement would give our citizenry a shared cultural background, reducing culture drift, decreasing internal rivalries, and generally makes our civ more awesome.
I want to delay starting the Grand Docks till next turn.
Or maybe we start the docks this turn with the guild action... and bust through it.What if next turn we were to stay on megaproject support and use our guild action to start the grand docks
Also like double main war the high backstabbers
I expect the international game to make a trait created from combining Joyous Symphony and Cosmopolitan Acceptance.
Again, why? There's no reason to delay that I can think of.
Part of me wonders if that would actually enhance our prestige in the eyes of the Khemetri. On the other hand, the docks are being built at Redshore, right?
And our Games are currently held at Redshore as well, right?
Do we really want a half finished megaproject causing issues for the first International Games?
I want the extra trade good a turn earlier.
I'd much rather do it this way now that I remembered the Guild Action. What if next turn we were to stay on megaproject support and use our guild action to start the grand docks
Also like double main war the high backstabbers
So your argument for why we need a Defensive policy for the war next turn is... what? That if we don't do defensive policy now, we never will? What does that have to do with the war next turn?I have seen this post 4 times now, we go to war or we just come off a war and someone says we should do the defense and then this post comes up.
If you are right then we not only will not do the defense Policy ever. We should not do defense policy ever.
It should be noted that we just got +1 Wealth from leading Pilgrimage, so we'd need 2 more trade goods to get the next stat drip.
