Since when did we grow proud?

[X] Acknowledge superiority (-15 Prestige, loses King of the Hill, peace, chance of +1 Stability)

Yeah sure sure. Master of all. We acknowledge it. We'll even hold some elaborate ritual to do so. Now bugger of.

I mean, it's not like we ever use prestige for anything. So this is basically a free end to the war for us, and we can concentrate on the bloody backstabbing HKers.
I don't necessarily disagree, but our new Legacy means King of the Hill has some definite value. Almost certainly not worth it but we could outright stability-crash the khem

We use it all the time. Prestige = subordinate states, and subordinate states are brokenly powerful.

[X] Offer tribute (-5 Prestige, -10 Wealth, keeps King of the Hill, chance of +1 Stability)
This is a pretty good deal.

Yes. Reshem will probably kill his dad and clean out the court in a quick coup in that case, but he will have the resources to bribe everyone into accepting it.

A new ally and an end to this pointless fighting? Sold. We will regenerate the wealth by next turn anyway.

How many lives will you spend for pointless wealth? Let us end this farce.

All i'm saying is give war a chance!

Though seriously, this is starting to go into US Civil war levels of attrition.

Lost 4 econ, 5 martial (with 3 refund), and net 0 wealth, from +1 from peace, -1 from looting presumably. Also looks like another trelli merc got killed, cause we're down to 3 wealth cost a turn...

Thankfully got both peace treaties out, so we've got good stab again...

Ah, so the tribute would be a one-off then? Since the prince would use it in a coup... I could support that. It would certainly allow for peace between the god states.

The Khemetri are offering terms
[] Acknowledge superiority (-15 Prestige, loses King of the Hill, peace, chance of +1 Stability)
[] Offer tribute (-5 Prestige, -10 Wealth, keeps King of the Hill, chance of +1 Stability)
[] The war will continue (War continues, have mid-turn actions before next War Mission rolls to potentially regenerate forces)

I'm seriously considering offering tribute, we don't get much of value from beating the khemetri, while we could instead shift focus onto the highlanders for the genius to handle, then conquer.

Guys, the Tribute is a good deal.

It's basically us giving the Prince money so he can usurp the King and force the nobles to accept us as KotH with bribes,
They have more martial than us, and I on't want to risk Gulvalley.

Plus, it lets us build up martial to take out the Highlanders.
We get actions to support guilds every turn, so we can easily build up wealth that way. We also get an extra 2 wealth a turn for not having to pay for Trelli mercs.

This is the option to ensure peace.

Hahaha good one

The peace option, the territory remains unchanged but we compensate the khemetri for expenses incurred. The only reason to take this is if we believe we absolutely cannot afford prolonging the fight. And seeing as you folks choose the king still stands instead of the reserve upgrade, it would be downright stupid to not make use of the legacy.

The war continues untill we can get better peace terms. We are fighting defensively and we have the king still stands legacy, meaning that the war favours us greatly.

This will end up interesting.
i'm all for a glorious charge but we still have to show HK it's place as our bitch.
