I kinda want another Improve Festival to push for a Golden Age sooner rather than later. It fits narratively, our stats are going to overflow like nothing else soon, and it's just awesome in general.

It's... fitting indeed. But of course, so is Joyous Symphony. Our "don't start wars!" attitude just got ingrained even deeper into our culture.
I'd still point out that in the same update we also saw a list of actions to hem in the Trelli with some fairly blatant provocation. It does a good job to demonstrate that while the People aren't at all warlike, they can be proactive in dealing with foreign problems.

I thought for sure that having red martial just meant having more soldiers than the state can properly control, and that they usually did something regardless of Stab.
The only time our warriors did something bad was when it was at red and negative stab, considering our upgraded social trait and doing something like celebration and bringing our peoples closer together I think we wont have a problem.
 
@Academia Nut now that the Climate Change has ended could you give us a tally of what each of the surrounding states took in terms of Econ/Econ Expansion/Stability damage over the course of the crisis?
 
We really need to throw more parties and fix that entertainment tech tree. Also lol on the Trelli becoming immediate assholes and throwing our plans to the winds.

I'm thinking this is the best trade post option currently.

It lets us contest the Trelli on trade, as well as protect the minors in the area from raids and such.

If it puts us at war with Trelli, said war would be defensive, and we would thus recieve +1 stab from finishing it by beating them up and demanding tribute/vassalizing them, since I'm pretty sure that counts as non-destructive.

It would also go well with the main build boats, since it would encourage warship innovation, which is what we need if we want to prevent the Trelli from pirating all of our goods.

Hmm mighty tempting to ignore the Trelli for now amd finish the Palace and integrate the Stallions. However its more efficient to found a trading post and mercenary company and then integrate the Stallions to recoup the lost stats. Also Grand Docks just jumped up in importance.
 
Regardless, we probably will have to send some sort of military presence up there soon, since the Trelli are bound to try and raid Greenshore sooner or later.
 
Oh joy, Trelli have started using pirates and slavery. Sounds like we need warships, and greek fire.
Mind you I say this not because I'm advocating war, but because we'll need them to protect our sea routes. As for the Greek Fire, well I just find that the best solution to slaving pirates is to kill them with fire that spreads when it get's wet. Though I guess it doesn't have to be Greek Fire, we could just go for thermite or W. phosphorous instead either way works, although that depends on us having discovered magnesium and aluminium.

One thing to consider, are we sure we can contest the Trelli if it comes down to it? Are our ships good enough to take them? Will we be able to supply or reinforce the trade post if it goes to war with the Trelli?

We might want to consider taking the northern trade post for now, to get access to those sweet, sweet trees to build better boats. We need some sort of naval advantage against the Trelli, and as we are right now I don't think we have enough power to combat them.

Or I guess we can just focus on internal issues with the ST and moar roads, and leave the west for later.

If we are integrating soon, we need to up centralization (integrating will drop it) and get started on our 3 trails count to bump centralization tolerance.

We need forests to build our docks, boats, mines, and grand docks. This is also a study action which is never a bad thing. Stability is also extremely useful, but I think partying further will only paper over our underlying issues. We saw a bit of that with the king having a hard time seeing the corruption.
