[X] [Prog] Art Patronage (-1 Econ, -2 Wealth, +4 Art, +1 Prestige)
Prestige let's us have an additional periphary state more safely, and starts working us towards another periphary state slot. The innovation is likely the dyes.
[X] [Refugee] Those who arrive on their own (Chance of stability loss, +2 Econ)
Need the least chance of a stability loss possible.

When it comes down to it, an evolved from of Pioneering Spirit would be amazing, and I can't say no to the chance of it.

Hopefully we have an admin hero king incoming. People are starting to try and juggle too many things at once here.

Almost certain the Trelli will have it. It's essential to city-states since they have to eat the risks.
Fastest way to stat overflow.
I think it's more likely the Trelli have an upgraded version of it. They don't seem strong enough to me that they'd go to war whenever someone muscled in on their territory.

do we have wog that the Hats have evolved PS?
Not direct WoG, however it is the only real way they could have survived what we did to them with enough resources to recover and they were once almost certainly a part of the WC who did have PS. Remember when AN said that due to certain factors they were not entirely screwed, and then the descriptions of what happened to their cities, the lack of the cities being able to exert centralized control?

Classic PS Cent crash spiral.

Need to better contain the new chemicals 1st. Then, focus on Art with dye, miners and stuff.

[X] [Refugee] Encourage those close to come (-1 Stability, chance of further loss, +4-5 Econ, possible new True City)

Low stab, high martial is bad. During peace time
We're at war, there are more than enough targets for them to vent at.
There may be some unsanctioned War Missions, but, hopefully, they'll go at Hats.

[X] [Value] Highlanders
Kinda want their order. And with enough similarities, we may annex them easier.

Changed my mind. Hopefully, we'll get the value we're looking for.

Pioneering Spirit is about the only way they could have spread out like they did. Keep in mind they're all along the mountainous region. It's actually very likely that the Hath were originally members of the WC that spread west, but never got eaten up by the Highland Kingdom.

It is... unlikely, that they would have not evolved Pioneering Spirit given the amount of time and reasonably stable (if decentralized) government they have. Pioneering Spirit is one of those super early techs, and needs to be evolved straight away...

Unless increasing Centralization is absolutely trivial for someone, like our enforce justice is.

Well as some consolation I don't think we can really get a bad trait from them since nothing horrendous seems to jump out about them, if we don't get PS.

It's also a case that they have that Raider Stress response which first alerted us to them, which was described by AN as dissatisfied people moving out of the valleys to the coastal villages and then the coastal people going raiding. Sounds like PS to me.

Yeah, it's close to guaranteed that they at least have pioneering spirit or an evolved form, and at the moment pioneering spirit would be good enough. We distinctly just want the centralization sink so we can afford enforce justice, which is by far our best way of increasing stability.

What do you think an evolved form might change/do/alter?

Hmm, based on what they did? I suspect they may be able to switch out stability hits for centralization hits to a certain degree.

They entered an age of heroes when they should have just flat out shattered after we did tremendous economic damage to them. This rather suggests it was their centralization tanking instead of their stability, as they became incredibly disunified and required a hero to re-unite them. That could also have been an effect of their form of government though.

Well, our LoO trait chain is another example, but I don't think they went that way.

That sounds rather plausible, and really helpful. It could also be caused by simple increased level of overall social complexity however. *shrug*

Thinking about it I also note that Religious Authority also seems to be spendable in place of Stability when it comes to tech innovations, which I think has been noted before.

I don't feel comfortable giving our artisans materials in unsafe containers that could potentially blow up in our faces. Plus we're trading it away? I'm super nervous that someone's gonna get blown up, and depending on what country it happens in there could be an international incident. But I think @Sivantic is right, and I'm not sure we're gonna even get this innovation without mini hero pushing it herself, and a Main Art Patronage will hopefully give our artisans some more political prominance. Fingers crossed that one of our provinces takes Glassworks before more shit blows up.

Negative stability causes more corruption to spring up, and I don't want to deal with any more of that right now.

Not to fond of CoT, let's see what's in the grab bag. Going Hath because it's the highest voted choice that changes our CA trait.

@Academia Nut is there any chance the various negaverse omakes you have listed under "silly things" could be moved one of the threadmark categories?

I don't expect you to go digging through the thread but I wouldn't be surprised if there were more of them scattered about

Hmm I wonder if it is possible to get messenger birds where does that tech lie because it would really help in our connectivity.
