technically we picked the best, however our civ was nowhere (and is still nowhere) near ready for it.

He isn't a demon yet. But given a few more generations without a prominent place of spiritual worship and he will turn into our Adversary equivalent....how is he a demon exactly? He's been considered a trickster god mainly.
AN made a thing on the cosmogeny of the people and apparently Crow, as the creator, is an outsider to the spirits and therefore technically a demon
but the conclusion drawn is that while he comes from the same place beyond the order of the world as demons he himself is not a demon as he helped produce the order of the world, and he is not intrinsically malicious.
That's only going to happen if Trickster is chosen, as otherwise he will be seen as a central part of our people anyway. Saying that he's going to be turned into a demon and seen as an Adversary is disingenuous and wrong. He isn't a demon yet. But given a few more generations without a prominent place of spiritual worship will turn him into our Adversary equivalent.
Wood?So is anyone else wondering what the '???' under Strategic Resources in the trade status is?
Yeah I am too... It might be brass but... we know the Thunder Horse have that so...So is anyone else wondering what the '???' under Strategic Resources in the trade status is?
Yeah, I suppose that makes sense.Hmm... maybe Tin? Yeah that may work as strategic since it is needed for Bronze and the other ingredient for Bronze, Copper, is also on there.
That doesn't really make sense because the People know what wood is, and I take those ??? to mean something the People don't know about but someone we do know does know about it.
Cement? So is anyone else wondering what the '???' under Strategic Resources in the trade status is?
That's terrifying. We need to make friends who have that and steal all of their shinnies.
Hey @Academia Nut can we get physical descriptions of Fythhagyna and Mathulmyn since we have not seen them before in quest?
This is hilarious to me in more ways than one.Slap fights between shamans who think it disrespectful to show her naked and those who think it disrespectful to not show her naked are common.
That honestly sounds like a variation on Teacher Crow that got spun off and split three ways again. Huh. Neat.Mathulmyn is almost more a common name for an idea than a proper god. There are three depictions depending on location: the first is a thoughtful man of middle age with elaborately braided hair and a full beard; the second is an elderly man with a truly long beard and bald held, hunched over either with age or to whisper advice into an ear; the third is a noble, matronly woman in fine dress reclining upon a chair and with a knowing smile.
Which of these depictions would be in the Temple if Mathulmyn is centrally placed? And if Mathulmyn isn't?Mathulmyn is almost more a common name for an idea than a proper god. There are three depictions depending on location
Before losing GS and gaining Iron it was ~neutral in terms of stats between the different options. It also would've given us the first true city and the correspondingly larger prestige boost. We can also get tech with those actions we'd have to spend recovering every time we took in a big refugee wave.
