[X] [Main] Great Temple
[X] [Secondary] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] New Trails x2

What kind of a bonus were you expecting. You realize that this literally means every single Econ action costs one less than it used to. EG. Exp Forests is free, etc.
As someone else mentioned, its econ slots, not econ.
[X] [Main] Expand Holy Sites
[X] [Secondary] Improve Annual Festival
[X] [Secondary] Improve Annual Festival x2

Changing to this since Diplomacy is going to overflow next turn, which is going to hit ART. Since this will max Art, this will then overflow to Mysticism. All while providing +1 stability!
It won't overflow it yet, with just that. We're only getting 1 diplo-> art overflow this turn, and that plus the festival art will only put art at 13.

Why does everyone want New Trails to fix our Centralization problem? Our primary problem is weak lower management, not lack of communications. Enforce Law is perfect for that.

Also: [Main] New Settlements remain our best way of creating Mysticism, especially since it also feeds our city's econ cost.
Reminder: CENTRALIZATION STAT OF 2

Ok, so we can expect an extra 1 forest expansion to fill the demand. That's not bad, considering we'll get a passive +2 mysticism bonus from the art and diplo overflow.

This brings centralization back up
Our Centralization is 3 below where we want it. That only solves one of the three.
How much do we need to max art for overflow to mysticism?
14 is the cap for all basic stats.

We really should Enforce Law and improve our disaster resistance better. We don't need to further improve communication, we need to get the stupid lower management into line and following The Law.

And our stability is borderline. We need to raise it. [Main] Grand Sacrifice, [Secondary] Enforce Law solves both of these.

Reminder: CENTRALIZATION STAT OF 2
Uh yeah? [Main] Trails = +1 Centralization. [Secondary] Enforce Law averages +2. [Main] gives +2.5

Hey guys, so, howbout, instead of doing a temporary boost to our mysticism, which our provinces will definitely do, we fix the issue permanently with a megaproject?

[X] [Main] Great Temple
[X] [Secondary] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] New Trails x2

Can we please wait before we start the temple? If we do it now, it'll take away our art and demand us to expand shrines to keep us floating.

If we do the main quarry, we'll get a +2 spill over to mysticism and it'll give us breathing room to build a mysticism buffer...then we can do the temple.

@Academia Nut
If we have multiple True Cities, does that raise the Econ Expansion slot cap to maintain the city?

Reminder to everyone:
Econ -> Diplo -> Art -> Mysticism -> Martial
Diplo -> Art -> Mysticism -> Econ -> Martial
Art -> Mysticism -> Diplo -> Econ -> Martial
Mysticism -> Art -> Diplo -> Econ -> Martial

I'm fpor the temple, but I also want to first bring our art and diplo to overflowing so that Saltern will double-overflow to Mysticism, providing a +1 passive boost that counters wisdom. This way we can switch to megaproject support..

[X] [Main] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] New Trails x2

I don't want double main trails this turn, but I also don't want to keep up with which of the two (between main and secondary) has more support. So strategic voting time.

It likely will lead us to a capped forest buffer. At least this turn, doing Trails will bleed diplo over into art to balance the cost. The faster we finish the Temple the faster we will likely have a fix to this problem.

Cool.

Problems:
0 Stability
2 [-1/turn] mysticism
High Load on our forests (3/4 used for charcoal alone)
High Load on True City maintenance (6/10 towards breaking true city, warning: spending economy adds +1 to this value automatically)

Fixes:
Any stability generator (Festival main, any GS, enforce law)
Continuous study stars/possibly Place To the Stars (balanced policy will likely negate the loss per turn, but any future gain will likely have to be intentional)
More Forests
Many Expand Econ actions (converting policy to expansion can do this, but balanced is likely to burn at least 2 slots by doing an econ expansion per turn)

Whittles down to CRITICAL PROBLEMS:
0 Stability
2 [-1/turn] mysticism
High load on forests

So, very simply...
[X] [Main] Enforce Law
[X] [Secondary] Expand Forests
[X] [Secondary] Expand Forests x2

If people want permanently fix our mysticism issue why aren't they voting for aren't you voting for this
Place to the Stars - The shamans have noticed deeper patterns among the stars than they ever imagined, and setting up long term memories of where things should be could be intensely useful, if also labour intensive to get sufficiently durable markers in place (7-10? action commitment, -1 Econ per action, some Mysticism commitment)
Since it seems like it will make study the stars a constant action which means we will gain a mysticism a turn to counteract our new belief's downside.

[X] [Main] Great Temple
[X] [Secondary] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] New Trails x2

We should do all the saltern extended projects after this as they passively generate diplo.

I think the Library is likely to spend mysticism. I agree that Place to the Star is likely to generate it. A temple probably generate mysticism too?

[X] [Main] Great Temple
[X] [Secondary] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] New Trails x2

Changing again because off setting our mysticism cost is more important than a temporary boost

Does expanding forests also expand our economy slots? I recall that being theorized at some point. If so, well, I'm worried about taking the action with things as they are. Wait to drop econ slots a little more before increasing again.

Our provinces are not stupid they know what we lack and since we are in relative peace they will generate mysticism for us

Mostly cause I want to see what effect building our megaprojects with alabaster on hand will have. :V
