[X] Elect Cwriid heir (+1 Stability, Crisis Ends on his terms)
[X] Stop trading with the Highlanders (-3 Diplomacy, small chance of the Highlanders declaring war)
[X] We will find land for you to settle (-1 Stability, +2 Econ)

You... do realize that they're raiders, yes? They've caused most of those conflicts themselves.

Yes, I'm aware of that, just as I am aware of the chance of having civil war if we declare war of the TH or (as is more likely) they declare war on us if we stop trading with them but keep trading ("supporting") the Highlanders. Unless we suppress the Stallion Tribes (which considering we have marriage alliances and shared blood with them may also threaten civil war) we're kind of stuck with them.

Blood is thicker than water and all of that.

We are at economy 3+1 and will get another 2 economy from LoO.

So math says it won't happen.
You forget that with the economic crisis active we have a chance of suffering economic damage each turn, and wars have a chance of damaging econ, and we have Sea Raiders and a war in the lowlands who can do that kind of damage to us. If we roll bad enough it could very well happen.

So yes, mathematically, it could very well happen.

[X] Snub him (Small chance of -1 Stability)
[X] Stop trading with both (-4 Diplomacy)
[X] We will find land for you to settle (-1 Stability, +2 Econ)c
For one since we actually have chance of completing out tax reform this suggests that it is possible to administer our land without hereditary rule, also I would like our civilization to stay unique and unusual, it makes it more interesting to play.
Also is there any reason our chiefs and the hero can't sit down and talk about their perspectives?

We might lose an unpredictable amount of econ next turn. Hopefully, it won't be four points drop, because it means we can't do grand sacrifice.

...
We never had an unpredictable drop.

Crisis drops were 0 and 1.

You can also say that maybe next turn an asteroid crashes and destroys half the Valley.
This is just as viable.

Well he'll be dead soon, but if you mean for posterity, he had become corrupted with nomad values. What was the name of our Satan figure? He was corrupted by that guy. Dead men, no matter how brilliant in life cannot defend themselves.

And now the hero became Antichrist supported by Crow the Satan.

Like what? We do have nomadic values in our traits you realize?

Edit: somehow a turn without hero king is better than a turn with hero king.

Econ Lost caused by an economic crisis that is unresolved are the example of unpredictable bad situations can be.

If the econ crisis is solved quickly it might not be so bad, but so long as an economic crisis is not solved it creates constant drag on the system and have a good chance of getting worse/snowballing to damage our entire system

Yeah, I don't buy us loosing 3+ econ in one turn to the crisis

And we would finish the law next turn.
