I am neither of those things. I was wondering the whole time if Moni wasn't actually just Money, and this was an extended offer to be bribed in order to make the world less dangerous and more rom-com like.Author's Note: Eagle-eyed readers might draw the conclusion that I have a guest in town this weekend and thus could not write an actual update. Said readers are brilliant and perspicacious.
In writing, a thing can always be two things-I am neither of those things. I was wondering the whole time if Moni wasn't actually just Money, and this was an extended offer to be bribed in order to make the world less dangerous and more rom-com like.
That's fair. Closed it.@eaglejarl
I don't think voting is ment to be open, as the last plan we voted in, "Mari's Big Day", still hasn't been written.
And have a fun weekend!
In the interest of killing some epileptic trees and proving that I don't understand satire:In summary: Moni may or may not actually be Earl's partner, is probably willing and able to use mind control, has probably applied that control to Tsunade and maybe Earl as well, and in general is likely an immediate threat to everyone in Leaf. I suppose we'll have to wait for the next chapter of CfG to see whether anyone will manage to realize this and escape her.
I think running a poll right now is thinking about this the wrong way. We're about to get intel about the goings-on in the EN and have an NPC review of "Yoink" and "Return to Leaf" plans. Hopefully after this update, we can collectively settle in on one plan or the other, and go full steam on that.I'll probably take the final tally into account unless someone makes a very convincing argument otherwise (for my plans anyway)
Chakra Runes aren't supposed to accelerate our research much (if at all). They're for Hazou's growthRelated to scrying vs chakra runes: I don't believe we can complete the runes in time and have the bonuses accelerate our research quickly enough to make up for the time spent making them.
Then we shouldn't be researching them at all. From my understanding, we are at the final stretch before going to Leaf, and we still have a non-trivial load of runes to make. Unless we have a huge number of slots for research, and can afford to research chakra runes without FP/DoB?Chakra Runes aren't supposed to accelerate our research much (if at all). Yeah but I'm bored and it's controversial so it stirs up the thread, which is kinda dead from 2 non-chapter updates in a row.I think running a poll right now is thinking about this the wrong way. If we're doing Return to Leaf, we clearly do chakra runes.
If we're doing Yoink, we clearly do Scrying.
The next chapter will probably be the best chance we get to settle the question of "Leaf or Yoink", so let's wait for that, then let our strategy dictate our research choices
Well that's just, like, your opinion man. Then we shouldn't be researching them at all. From my understanding, we are at the final stretch before going to Leaf, and we still have a non-trivial load of runes to make. Unless we have a huge number of slots for research, and can afford to research chakra runes without FP/DoB?
OK, see, if you'd said this it would make sense for me to agree, as it increases the rate of our research at the (short-term?) cost of having to make one.We are stuck to 2 slots with current chakra constraints. This rune would open up a third (non-DoB) slot we could use on Easy stuff
This doesn't help, man.Well that's just, like, your opinion man.
Seems like plenty of people think we can get them done and still work on the other stuff.
It was intended to be humorous (quoting a movie), sorry if it missed the mark.
It's kind of not ... good? Like just doing them on our DoB tracks is a relatively minimal cost. They take like a ~week or so approx. When each cycle for a Medium Rune takes a week and we need 6 of them to finish a rune it's just not a huge time saver.OK, see, if you'd said this it would make sense for me to agree, as it increases the rate of our research at the (short-term?) cost of having to make one
