I should probably clarify, since the joke about killing hero units was something I typed up a while back and forgot to delete when I answered Lab Accident's question.
The upcoming Crisis is very much a big deal (tm). Tad wasn't completely wrong when he said Kataclysm was Baby's First Crisis. If Kataclysm had been more damaging, it wouldn't really have been fair, since you A) had no real scale for what a Crisis was on the receiving end and B) didn't really get a fair shake of opportunities to actually deal with it. It also helped that Hego was the one who took the brunt of it, since he's a pretty durable guy who can take a lot of punishment, so to speak. A bunch of different things coming together to kind of soften the blow.
Negaduck is a bit different from Kat.
Negaduck is a King, and more than that, he is a very strong, very dangerous King who is explicitly specialized in horrible grisly violence. In his show, he took over his home planet before coming over to this Earth because he was bored of ruling. Negaduck is not personally attacking Danville. That much Xanatos has told you. He's only sending you one of his hand-picked Hero Units instead. Which is good for you, because it turns the situation from 'potentially quest ending' to merely 'probably devastating'. Let's go down the list.
Liquidator or Bushroot could, if left unchecked, completely flatten Danville. The former would do more wide-scale damage, but the latter would be more difficult to root out afterwards, as it were. They pose different problems, in the while Bushroot himself goes down easy (speaking relatively), he's also a scientist, and left unchecked he could find all kinds of weird plants and make them your problem, some of which may continue to be your problem for a long time afterwards. Liquidator is made of water, so the problem with dealing with him is pretty obvious.
Megavolt could do irreparable long term damage to your infrastructure, for example frying DaedelOS's mainframe is something he could concievably do if he's rampaging through Doof Tower, and is arguably the one that can do the most single-target damage through his ability to thunderbolt someone. If you look back, you'll remember Circuit Breaker can immediately down someone on hit.
Quackerjack...keep this between you and me, but Quackerjack is the member of the Five I'd be most worried about if I heard he was coming, discounting Negsy himself. Quackerjack plays smart. He doesn't have the abilities that the others have, but he makes up for it in his ability to be precise about his damage. He'd probably open up with bombing key infrastructure. Or maybe he'd jump one of your weaker hero units and use them as bait. Or maybe he'd just grapple through your window and make a precision strike on Doof while he's getting his morning coffee. Who knows?
Oh, and of course, it may be someone else, with unforeseen surprises for you! Wouldn't that be something.
Regardless of who attacks, you should probably expect to get hurt. Getting through the Crisis without damage is....hypothetically possible. In theory. This is one of the most violent Kings currently active on the board going loud.
Please understand what that means.
