So if we leave them alone, there will be lots of casualties, as per Oriko's vision, right?

Why can't we ask her about going in loud and its effects on how many casualties will happen? We can always cleanse her if her ability's expensive.

Then again, being too dependent on Oriko might lead to other problems...
 
Whatever the plan, I think Oriko would really appreciate it if we gave her a heads up and tell her to shut her precog powers off for an hour, just to avoid the worst of the butterflies we'll make.

That, or get a bottle of Black label on-hand.

Fair enough then, suppose that's the most likely stopping point for a vote anyway. (And realistically, I doubt we're getting out of the city without some sort of confrontation, but hey - one can hope.)

Though I do wonder what their reaction will be since we've proclaimed we're coming 'to end the war' and then say 'plan is: fight only if they attack first and get you guys out of the city ASAP'. They may have expected backup to help them put Ishinomaki on the run rather than an extraction + intimidation if necessary.

Bet'cha anything that before this is over someone tells Sabrina that she's too naïve and doesn't know the first thing about being a real magical girl. (Probably Sakura -she's a bitch like that)
 
[x] Go for stealth. Keep your grief presence as suppressed as possible, for as long as possible when you extract the Sendai girls.
[x] Look for Akiko. Get her to a point Sakura can teleport to even if it means going back to Mitakihara.
- [x] If Akiko is under attack, decompress grief as a distraction. Or grief signature feels like a witch let's use that to our advantage. Keep in touch with Akiko. If the Ishinomaki meguca break contact, then recompress grief.
- [x] If they do not break contact, go loud. Make them know the storm is coming for them. Grief, pyrotechnics, and rainbow colors if nothing else, it will make them pause or draw their attention. Worst comes to worst, drop the hammer. Addendum: Do this at close range to avoid enemy intervention.
- [x] Watch for other meguca, do not engage if possible.
- [x] Use your grief to create mobile cover for your group. Fire grief marbles but keep the speed low, aim for injury not the kill. If possible have Mami subdue them with ribbons. Have Kirika provide indirect fire or destroy their cover. Do not have her use her anti-magic under any circumstances.

Since no-one's taken note of it yet:

Holy shit, Kirikia melted a witch with anti-magic blasts. I mean yeah, it needed a few blasts but still, imagine what that'll do to a soul gem.

...we might want to limit her to just one focused blast should the need arises.

Didn't do anything to our Gem and we dove right through a blast while she was clearly trying to kill us.

I'm more interested in the implication that Witches consist of enough magic -as well as Grief- that antimagic melts them. Maybe Grief is the physical medium and magic the animating force?

Is there any particular objection you have to my going loud vote? Because I'm not seeing why you would support going loud, but not vote for the detailed plan of what to do after going loud.

This leaves Sakura and Rin hanging in enemy territory for a while. Wasn't the plan there to fly up and let Sakura see us so she could teleport to us so we could then teleport away?
