[X] Potion of Haste
[] The On-Ice-inator! Doofenshmirtz cryogenically freezes himself for two months as a proof of concept. Next turn, Mirage is in charge of DEI! King stats and National Actions will be changed to reflect this!

Single use. The target gains one free Personal Action the turn this is used.
[X] The Duplicatinator! This inator replicates the effect of the last five inators rolled, all at once!

A lot of you remember the probabilitinator a lot more fondly than I do.

Well, this time we don't have a mandatory action in the same way hat we have to worry about, and there's a lot of fun plans going around. That changes things. Also, now we have better ideas for write-ins.

The Duplicate Truth

"So..." Came the vice of Vanessa as you work on your latest Inator. "This is supposed to do what again?"

"I already told you Vanessa!" You said as you began the finishing touches. "The Duplicatinator will replicate the effects of the last five major Inators I've worked on!"

"You mean like that one that messed up probability?" Vanessa said with some panic in her voice. "And the one that made it so strong?"

"Yes and yes!" You told her, now she was getting it! "Along with the In-vest-Inator, Deviled-Egg-Inator and Rainfoodinator!"

"Dad, no. That's bad idea." Vanessa told you. "Won't they get super-boosted too? You'll rain food from the sky all over the country!"

That actually got you to look away from your work and look directly at her with a shocked expression.

"Vanessa!" You tell her. "I'm very disappointed in you!"

"What?"

"That's not how the Duplicatinator works at all!" You practically shout. "It replicates them as they were! It's why the Probabilitor-Inator is being replicated like that in the first place! The others won't be, because they weren't before!"

"But-" She starts trying to think of something else. "What if L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. escapes prison because of this?"

"They'd only do that if they would have anyways."

"It did as much harm as good!" She shouts. "It helped your enemies more than it hurt them!"

"I don't think so." You told her. "I have the feeling Jumba would have failed anyways on those superpowers, and we only managed to do so well against Kat thanks to how well those GalFed people did. Plus we don't have anything major coming up that's too risky, so we can plan better for probability going all wonky for a bit."

"But what about the others?"

"David and Shego did good, they were supposed to after all, and we succeeded more than we failed." You inform her. "And everyone else had some good wins yes, but they also failed at important things they were working on."

She seems to understand she won't be able to convince you, and soon calms down.

"Look, I don't even know if I'm going to activate it yet." You told her. "But saying things that aren't true about it will only make things worse in the long run."

"I-" She seems hesitant. "I understand."

"Good," You say as you return to work. "Now can you be a dear and check in on Norm, he wanted to help out with the musical and hasn't shut up about weaponry since, I'm getting a little worried!"

Just made this to counteract the straight up lies in Tronz's Omake.

Another thought:

The Dream Queen could be at the point where they're able to do NA's. The Super-Probability-Inator would make ____'s fate binary in its options.

I'm quite confident that the Duplicate-Inator is the better play here, even leaving aside how hilarious, entertaining and in-character it is. We've got a lot of mid-DC actions we've left behind for a while, and here we can all but guarantee sweeping them with a wave of crit successes that will more than overcome any downsides from the meat rain or the one, maybe two crit fails we might bad luck our way into.

Income wise, a supervillainy crit success is probably just what we need to catapult us into a position to buy out Doc Hoppers, and with the right hero selections we can be throwing a 99% crit success chance on it. SPLIT/SECOND is another freebie crit success income granter.

I'm more interested in Investing in Volatility, honestly. We missed that last time.

Looks like a very close vote.

I was initially leaning toward MirageQuest, but the option of investing in volatility being pointed out swayed me. And the potion of haste could let Technor both do therapy and a national action.

Edit: ...Wait. Will the reused Inators have musical numbers this time?

Well, Spark is a musical interlude, so... we can hope so? Maybe the Duplicatinator can be the grand finale?!

I'm picking this because I really love acting like a supervillain.
hmmm... what benefits COULD there be for critting the coven? Permanent small boost to occult actions?
Friend network for Malf and a lessening of his -20 trait?

As evidenced by Kat's use of the Groundhog-Day-Inator (Bad) (Doubled) during the crisis, the inators that we rolled but didn't choose from tinkering with inators were still built and thus presumably could still be studied, they were merely not activated.
Could we use a National Action to activate an Inator we've previously built but didn't activate? I'd still like MirageQuest sometime.

Isn't the Inator that made the Crit Inator so intense one that affects the Inator for the following turn? So it wouldn't affect the inators from the turn upon which the Duplicatinator is activated, but whatever Inator is chosen for the following turn.
Therefore, wouldn't it presumably reduce the intensity of the Crit-inator to affecting just us, and not the entire solar system? Or is that one activated at the strength which it was for the turn upon which it worked?
