I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

We arent discussing ideas on how to give The Miner additional swag after all.

We can can do a few Gronti that test out these ideas that arent going all in on burning our Adamant stockpile while testing these things out. Gronti are kinda like a perfect way to work these things out and experiment I think.

The Skaven...they are coming, and this could push the Karaz Ankor in its Golden Age to secure a doctrine against them and maybe, just maybe, push them out of the World's Edge Mountains.

...now i have no idea on how to vote, or pick, or even juggle the actions, but these to me are the most likable...for me.

This is my preferred plan as I'd rather finish off our initial starting perk which was Yorri's list and see just what happens, and whether our Student of the Odd trait evolves or not. This also synergy's with the bonus from Kraka Drakk which can proc on the materials we find from such sites, so the more items we find the earlier we find them the sooner the research list should finish out ideally. There also the various narrative benefits the hold gets from acquiring new unique resources from which to build and trade, further improving the prosperity and quality of life for dwarfs.

I also like the overall narrative of this plan the best where Snorri has his apprentices create items for Yorri's approval, while also taking them on an adventure and explore into the wilderness and see all the many strange and beautiful things that can be found reminiscent of his own apprenticeship. Then finally releasing them to become journeyman in their own right, just as Snorri himself reaches his own milestone from study under Yorri. It's overall a more admiring and cohesive narrative for me.

I really like the small comissions and requests and stuff, but I agree our retainers are in demand and our research needs to be whittled down.

Something is is worth noting about that runestaff that is both amusing and a touch intriguing, that is the closest thing we have seen to date to a runesmith implement casting magic. I don't mean that in a metaphysical sense, Fjolla is no kind of heretic, but on the surface level consuming enemy spells and then spitting them out as searing beams of light or frightful illusions, that is what basic battlefield casting looks like. She even has two 'spells' to her name, three if you count dispelling which any runesmith can do.

I wonder if she would be interested in those elf books, particularly the ones concerning the Wind of Light.
