Hey Where's Amur?

Also, Hell Yes!!!! Good update with Kitsune entering the Fray with the save and our sorceress supreme tapping into body horror magic!!!

Also:
"We're gonna die to a bunch of furries." Lizzy said with a sigh. "Great."

On the one hand, this being Xanatos, I wouldn't be surprised if he has some more mercenary help in the wings as a last line of defense/against Demona.

On the other... if we were to retreat, that would entail into the building, correct? We wouldn't really have to worry about the crowd (did a crowd of people really approach a group fighting with guns and rocket launchers and whatnot?), and thus the breaking of the masquerade, meaning all of our sorcerous units could help/stop holding back.

But it might also lead to Kitsune running into Puck, which... heavily implied to not be good? Though it would probably give more insight into her character...

Oh, Kitsune is actually really terrified of Puck, not merely generically intimidated by a more powerful magic entity.

Who could have possibly anticipated that?

Beyond that, the Pack rolling at 52 Martial is impressive, bit higher than I expected even, and we should definitely rush in. The Puck time bomb is likely to explode no matter what we do now and -from a Watsonian perspective- staying in the sidelines to protect the crowd is not much good if our staying out of the main action makes the mega-genocidal stunt that Demona plans to get started pronto likelier to succeed.

A WVRN helicopter began soaring over the battlefield, prompting Kitsune to shift back into her mortal guise. "There hardly seems to be a personality missing."

Horvath will not be appearing in this quest.

...Seriously, Horvath? You are incompetent enough to miss the huge "gang war" that involves a lot of spells and gargoyles?

The Huntsclan is more competent, Dracons goons are more competent, heck, *the friggin Glooms* are arguably the most competent of our "allies" right now.

I am honestly more than a little pissed at that idiot right now.

So you were right that Kitsunes aversion against Puck is more than just intimidation...so what?

We already knew that Puck ( like all Fae) can be a dick. Additionally, she might mentally exaggerating what happened back then. Regardless of it allwe are now stuck with her as reinforcement, so we just have to deal with it.

Yeah let's get our asses inside the warehouse we can use magic more freely there and Demona is the primary danger everything else isn't nearly as important .

I'm starting to wish we had sent Genghis over Tom...

While that would have *concentrated* our Martial rolls more, it also most likely would have deprived us of stuff like the general +5 to Martial thanks to Genghis lacking the modern knolewdge to properly analyze Xanatos heavily high-tech defenses.

So it´s debatable which approach would have been better in the end.

Nothing much.

Much like the people that voted for Kitsune in the hopes that this trip will speed along her character arc are entitled to validation if it turns out that this whole episode has a positive outcome in that front, I get to feel a smug sense of petty self-satisfaction about having read the clues correctly, particularly considering how fiercely some people argued against my reading, thinking that I was overstating things and that it would be safe enough to get Kitsune involved with the NY action.

In other words, I get to award myself an imaginary cookie. It is satisfying, it is low fat and it has no further consequence.

Woo!

Anyway, I am really torn on what the better option is here. On the one hand, Demona might already be there and so we should help. On the other, she might not be and we might lead her right to him. Plus the last thing we need is the Pack inside the bunker during that fight.

Hmmm the pack seem a lot more competent then I expected tbh.

I mean seriously They get easily bested by the Manhattan clan most of the time and Goliath has made good showing of nearly soloing them iirc.looks like someone seriously upgraded their gear and skills.

suprised Xanatos didn't have them on his leash though

Thinking about it a little more, I don't think we can afford to go inside. At this point, we're the only people outside capable of standing up to the pack, since Horvath probably will show up after everything's over, if at all. If the outer defenses get overrun, then longer term Xanatos is going to get overrun by virtue of sheer numbers and Demona will take the opportunity to achieve her goal in the process.

Plus, he hasn't called for help yet so I think we're fine on that.

Either one we choose has a downside.

We go in the people outside might get in.

We stay out then if someone sneaks in they might get the item.

Both aren't great so I'd pick the one that helps us more. We can cut loose inside. We can't outside.

Did I miss it where people started voting? It looks like the voting moratorium ended at an hour and a half ago?

[X] After her!

Oh, we can vote
[X] Hold the line
Xanatos probably knows, right? If they leave now, the Pack will run roughshod over the mob, and leave a path to the core open for a massive horde of gargoyles.

Xanatos probably already has his plan for dealing with Demona. Let's not throw a monkey wrench into that. Also, we're the only ones here that can stand up to the pack and if they manage to breach the walls it's going to be down to pretty much just us and Xanay against both the horde and the Pack, plus whatever Demona and Brooklyn are up to.

[X] After her!
I fully expect, in true Xanatos fashion, he'll have a plan for either decision we make. We won't risk 'ruining' his plan because that has us assuming he only has one plan for this event, when we know that's not how he works.

I'm voting for heading inside because then we'd be able to utilize both Leopold and the Glooms, not to mention our full capabilities in the event that the Pack follows us. Although the Huntsclan are pretty solid (not to mention their damn leader is on the field). I think they'd be able to keep our opponents busy for a bit.

Fighting outside puts us at a disadvantage as we will not be able to use our full abilities fighting inside allows the use of magic again and limits how many mooks can act at once.

honestly it doesn't matter if the outside falls so long as it buys time. if we kill Demona we win if we stop Demona from getting her ritual piece we win, if we stall till sunrise we win.
