On Thread Etiquette:

I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Please endeavour to be cordial. :^)

I thought that we still had her as an apprentice for a turn after the campaign? And that she graduated the turn after. Like with the other two, we chose that they were ready as soon as the option popped up and they stuck around for one last turn.

Or do I have that twisted in my head somehow?
So she's going to have the option to graduate on turn 15.

[X] Teach your apprentice. [Cost: 1 Action] Locked in for 1 turn.
This was from turn 14.

What happened with Fjolla and Dolgi was that we released them on turn 13 but we still had access to their action for turn 13. So you didn't have it twisted up, just off by a turn.

[X] My Home: The smell of baking stone bread, the cheer of dwarfs working hard and coming together. It is what pushes you forward. Great weapons to arm them, great armour to gird them, great knowledge to teach them, great stories to tell them. The reason no elder will ever tell their juniors why they tolerate their faffing nonsense.

Sorry Runeslot. Autocorrect. I am really not that impressed with the Rune of Brotherhood.
If you use it for the straight mechanical effect yes, but there may be something in it with a runic combo to grant supernatural coordination

Making Adamant and learning about Gromril has been amazing, but I've gotta admit, the thing I've loved most about this Quest has been watching Kraka Drakk grow and prosper.

This is kind of a difficult decision for me. It seems IC that this choice is one where Snorri is finding a sense of belonging and purpose in his Hold and seeing it succeed.

The other choice is Snorri finding his sense of purpose in the research and advancement of his Runesmithing abilities.

Both are good, I see Snorri having a vested interest in the success of his Hold and the advancement of his research, but to me I'd prefer if he enjoyed the success of the Hold over his own personal achievements.

[X] My Work: You cannot deny there is a thrill to being a Runelord, to the crafting to the research to the simple act of teaching. There is always more to learn, to explore and discover and pass on. Every experience, every action is always ripe for opportunities to improve and discover. If you could help it, you'd be learning and exploring until the world itself came undone.

Wait, doh, clearing something up/keeping it in mind, the future commissions are:

1 armor for King Otrek and 1 armor for his son Prince Gloin
1 cloak for King Otrek and 1 cloak his son Prince Gloin
and the 1 amulet (talisman) for the daughter of Prince Gloin and Princess Girda.

So we've got 2 armors for father and son, and 2 cloaks for them too.

And 1 amulet for the child.

Nevermind about being clever about matching cloaks of Grungni and Valaya, these armors and cloaks are for father and son. ><

Maybe one possibility, is try to find a way to make the Dwarfs best able to execute the (now revealed) characteristic strategy of Kraka Drakk; of the charge and skirmish-crash. So something to help Dwarfs on the charge. And also, just, good armor. Perhaps Might + Impact + Fortitude? And Might + Impact + Steel? Those seem like Combos to me. Or even just lower-c combinations. Getting to use the Master Rune of Gromril, or of Adamant if we get that one, would be pretty nice though. Yeah, I'm actually thinking of liking the thought of the Gromril one...

Though, I'm also hoping to finally getting to use the Rune of Preservation on some armor -- because it's the one that protects against "oops, sudden death!" type attacks.

I mean, Snorri is literally Dwarf-Santa. What else could we pick?

Hmm, for Otrek at any rate, for his cloak maybe something using these runes.
Master Rune of Passage: The wearer moves more easily through even the most difficult terrain.Necessary Ingredients: [T2] Great Eagle's Feather
Master Rune of Fear: Forces fighting under this Rune will appear larger, more dangerous, enemies facing them will feel a current of fear facing them. Necessary Ingredients: [T2] Giant Spider's Venom
Master Rune of Dismay:The user emits an aura or wave that saps the wills of his foes. Necessary Ingredients: [T2] Troll's Stomach
Master Rune of Passage to help him outmanoeuvre and flank his enemies and then a combo of Dismay and Fear to really scatter whatever the hell he just completely fucked up.
