Our opponent's supply lines are shorter. This is an issue.

Logistics are critical!

(Oh and the minor matter of they have two affiliates helping them - we are supposed to have two or three as well, aren't we?)

I'm no good with tallies, but I'm pretty sure Plan Heavy Investment in Gabriel won.

Uh wow, that's a lot of ships for the GBZ. Missed this round of voting but damn, that's half the size of the Apiata fleet in total C/D I think. Hopefully the Apiata contribute just as much, and that the Amarki also contribute some if the anti-Syndicate effort can be wound down.

Missing Amarki here. Pretty sure they're are high alert because of the bombing.

Also the threadmark should include the date (2313.Q1?)

Also yeah that plan won:

I think the Amarki are more likely in their own SoE equivalent. Their capital got nuked.

Btw, as I compile the profiles of available Rear Admirals and Commodores, can I say home much I look forward to the day that all of these will be derived from user-created and promoted characters? :)
Considering how many of our precious babies OC officers are crowding the Lt.-Cpt. range, it's likely to be soon.

Logistics
Example Requirements:
1 Sm per two Escort assigned
1 Sm per Cruiser assigned
2 Sm per Explorer assigned
1 Sm, 1 Blk per Station
2 Sm, 2 Blk per Outpost
5 Sm, 5 Blk per Starbase
Colony: Varies

Current Requirements:
1 Station (Collie) - 1S 1B
2 Explorer - 4S
4 Cruiser - 4S
1 Escort - 1S

10 Small, 1 Bulk Cargo

Not sure what Sm/S/Blk/B stand for, or how they correspond to escorts, cruisers, and explorers. Cargo flow needed?

@OneirosTheWriter
Previous question:
1. If I understand the MWCO correct then this quarter our members and affilates started:
Amarkia- 1 Centaur-A
Humans- 1 Connie-B
Caldonia- 1 Science Cruiser
Qloathi-1 Arquila Leb Hoiathi

2. What counts as a Cardassian client for the treaty?

3. Are the Yrillians Cardassian clients are still neutral?

Edit:
Also we have a mining colony available in the GBZ at F2, we may want to spend 8 pp on grabbing that this snakepit

1 - Go back a page or so, I already answered this.

2/3 - Yrillians don't count yet, Gretarians don't count yet.

However, we can likely supply direct from Apinae. As can the opponents supply direct from their border worlds. The final link in the logistics lines for the Cardassians are longer, and for the Sydraxians are shorter. Furthermore, we are in direct conflict with the Sydraxians to begin with, but we bring the Apiata in at the same point as we go in, while the Sydraxians and the Cardassians are multiple weeks of travel apart. That means we have the advantage of force concentration.

A note from re-reading

We start at 1f. The Syndraxians start at 2e.

We are neighbours with a force that has been trying to mousetrap our explorers for years.

While we dealing with them, the other two opponent forces are going to have a free run

Hi everyone, to help get a grasp on the supply chains for more visual learners like myself, I've made some hasty-ass edits to @Nix 's map.
Red Underline = Critical Facility
Yellow Underline = Major Facility
As you can see, we're pretty much going to IMMEDIATELY butt heads in 3 sectors. Trying to get Ariel is going to be fun.

40 Small, 28 Bulk Cargo Capacity in regular Cargo/Freighter ships

Assigned:
USS Yagok, USS Luna Maru -

So this along with the large number of auxiliaries is a large party of why escorts are worth their weight despite being more fragile. They're cheaper in maintenance costs along with the build costs, and we need a lot of ships to cover all the defenseless ships.

Right now, our Constitution-Bs are doing double duty as primary defense and escort.

I think the Amarki are more likely in their own SoE equivalent. Their capital got nuked.

Well it's a seriously situation alright, but the Amarki are not under existential threat. There's probably a state of emergency in the Amarkian capital, but not a nation-wide one.

2313.Q1 - The Herald of the Heavens Pt 2
"Okay, so we'll start off with two Excelsiors, three Connie-B-Goods, the Challorn, and the Winterwind," lists off Heidi Eriksson as the last of the icons settle into place on the display.

You let out a low whistle. "And within one quarter we'll have another Connie, a Centaur, and two Miranda-As. Lady and Gentleman, that is some force."

"I would not envy the Cardassian commander who will have to oppose it," agrees Sulu.

"It's also a force stronger than most of our member worlds can call upon," you add. "So, we'll have to be careful who we assign it to. This is definitely a Rear Admiral operation. We will also require Commodores to lead the vanguard element, the protective element, and the auxiliary element."

"Of course. Rear Admiral Seruk was kind enough to pass me these short lists to pick between," says Sulu.

"I don't suppose he added himself to the list...?"

A long serving officer in Shipyard Operations, I believe he is chafing with a long series of planetside assignments, and would like to see his talents verified through a different command before pushing him towards a Shipyard Command.

Looking at the map, the way I see it, either we straight-up smash Deva, or we're in a race with the Sydraxians AND the Cardassians right up the f-column to try and branch out.

Tough call between John and Rachel. I like Rachel's high aggression, BUT I think John's better diplomacy might open up options aside from SHOOT HER, SHOOOOOT HERRRRRRR

[X][TF1] Commodore Jessica Rivers
Balanced stats. I'd like someone with high aggression but I am unsure about th'Marlaas, and she's 'better' than ch'Zelil.

[X][TF2] Commodore Revak
As per Sousa's speech, Escorts will need to protect shipping. We do not want a high-aggressiveness commander in this role.

as for logistics idk

EDIT: @OneirosTheWriter politics is more for internal Federation stuff and Diplomacy is more about dealing with other polities, right?

I'm tempted to say we should throw a lot of crap at the Syndraxi entry point and just seal it off.

On the other hand denying them room to expand sort of runs counter to all the diplomacy we've been trying lately. I'd say push the Cardassians hard, and skirmish with the Sydraxians without boxing them in. If they start to feel that the Federation opposes their expansion, then they'll have more reason to throw in with the Cardassians than revenge. We need to make them respect us, without considering us an existential threat.

I'm thinking Maeth th'Irnyar for Logistics. Part bonus, BUT ALSO because it would be funny to pair a high aggressive Logistics head with a low aggressive escort commander. Might even be beneficial, balance each other out.
