You know, considering what Dragon (the Cape) did for Hunts, Saint might want to be careful. If Ascalon goes off, something tells me there is going to be a very pissed off chromatic dragon out for blood.

Taylor and everyone else were really over-weirding out about healing Amy. All they had to say was that Amy had flatlined and they had to heal her heart first, as such healing her took a long time and might have permanent after effects.

Taylor honestly get off your ass and start taking care of cleaning the city. Honestly I don't know why I thought Taylor would actually work to actively clean the city up. Awesome powers and calling Amelia back is the best thing she's done so far.

I feel like I missed part of the story.

Who did leave the gifts for Amy to Taylor? Was it Tiamat?
Tamara, dragon goddess of light, life, mercy, and forgiveness, sometimes proclaimed as Bahamut's mother, and sometimes not.

She's from the Forgotten Realms (Faerun).

Tamara

Tamara (pronounced: /təˈmɑːrə/ tuh-MAH-ruh[3]) was the neutral good dragon goddess of life, light, mercy, and forgiveness.[1] She was the consort of Lendys,[2] and was commonly worshiped alongside him and Bahamut, who in some traditions was considered to be their son.[6] In her natural form...

I am really enjoying this story. In particular as a long time Faerun GM.

Thanks for the awesome words!

"Mostly," the woman corrected with a smile. "But mostly dead means that you are still partly alive. What do you have to live for, Amy?"
She's certainly easier on the eyes than Miracle Max,
"Black, blacker, blackest; colder beyond frozen things,
"Where is between when there is naught
"To life but fragile dragon wings…"
Is that a motherfucking Dragonriders of Pern reference?
My thoughts as well
Well, she's not really a terrible person, so you'd imagine she'd be safe from the hells, but that makes me wonder if the Wall of the Faithless is a thing in this world. If it is, it needs to be torn down ASAP.
The Wall of the Faithless was only in Forgotten Realms, it didn't even exist in other D&D settings, it's probably safe to assume it doesn't exist here. Besides, Amy is presumably at least nominally Christian.

You'll see the beginnings of the E88's descent into stupidity and madness at the end of this arc.
I'm questioning how they would end up that way without outside intervention. Kaiser was pretty clear about his orders on dragon hunting.
That was awesome! Hopefully, Amy just got one hell of an upgrade.
Depending on the level of dragonyness of the upgrade, I feel that we may have an excuse to ship skitterpan. Well more of an excuse.

Tiamat (the stuffed animals) and Bahamut (the solid platinum peony).

Tamara gave her a Ring of the Dragons.
I stand partially corrected.

Hmm. That ring is going to come in handy. Thing is, there aren't many evil dragons around these days, so while (extremely) useful, it's not quite as much as it could be.

Are the plushes magical? How about the peony? I could think of a number of uses, including summoning critters using them (the plushes), or a healing power for Panacea to use on herself when needed (the flower).

And what if Annette doesn't want to be revived?
It's really hard to bring someone back who doesn't want to be brought back. You can either bring their spirit to you via (greater) planar binding or gate and try to convince them to come back, or you could quite literally knock them unconscious and then cast the rez spell, since, according to the rules, "unconscious creatures are automatically considered to be willing." Some fridge creepiness, right there, but it allows you to rez someone who is otherwise unwilling to return.

Other than that, it's pretty much impossible, far as I know.

And like Hell would Taylor force her mother back to life if Annette was unwilling.

The ring is something Ravenwood240 pointed me at : 1) Can only be used by a dragon. 2) Gets her full monstrous strength in all forms. (AMY PUNCH!) 3) Draconic Presence in all forms. 4) Extra Damage resistance and spell resistance 5) Regeneration 6) Tamara's has something peculiar to it - Starmantle. Yes, the ring will be handy.

The platinum peony is just a nice object d'art. The plush toys are something Tiamat thought would be cute.

Eh, it's D&D. It has a revolving door afterlife. You didn't have Amy ambushed by devils recruiting for the Blood War, so I'm fine. The interesting thing will be if she talks about her mostly-dead experience - don't Tiamat and Bahamut think Tamara is dead?
Depends on the setting, frankly - in some, you need a divine patron to allow your resurrection.

Well. So long squishy healer Amy. Curious to see who'll be the first to rile up her dragonness.
