I second the idea of Sabrina infusing Grief into her hammer for a spar, and what better time to give it a try then now, with a person who can spot check it on hand.
If watching spear technique videos worked for Kyouko, then the reverse might work for Sabrina. Binge watch some Fate Servant fights (or other melee focused shounen anime) to study how superhumans that don't quite obey the laws of physics are supposed to fight with melee weaponry?
Throw some cheesy martial arts movies onto the pile - Cinema Wushu is practically the definition of pointlessly and impractically acrobatic combat movement.
Maybe we could try sparring with our wings out? Not for defense or attack, but purely as a mobility aid. Since I doubt that realistic combat skills include techniques for wing-assisted mobility, that might be a way to bring out our proper combat instincts.

Also, we're long overdue on learning Yuma's shockwave strike.

Technically, neither of them are winged "magical girls".
I don't think becoming a god disqualifies either of them from still being a magical girl.
We might also try to lean into Wushu while we do it - it's the definition of pointlessly and impractically acrobatic combat movement.
Gotta agree with Torg here. We're trying to kick our own instincts to the curb and replace them with impossible ones; taking a martial art that probably requires a very high awareness of "possible" is not something I think will help.

Of course, none of us are magical girls (presumably

Unless of course anyone here wants to out themselves as an Actual Magical Girl?

Isn't "magical girl" slang for lesbians and other sapphic ladies, in Japan?

If so, I assure you, there are Actual Magical Girls reading this thread.

And not just because I have the first couple of chapters of a magical girl powerset SI Worm fic languishing on my laptop's SSD.

To be fair, angels-that-could-be-confused-for-human are ALSO Biblically accurate, it is really only the Revelation angels (the top tier ones) that are non-euclidean.

Pretty sure the "wheel of too many eyes" type of mushroom-induced hallucination was Old Testament...

For my vote, I'm stealing Torgamous' and Itmauve's jokes, they're too good to not make canon.

Please do not steal my joke; the Incubator may be listening.

Really not appropriate or smart to make that joke, so I'm voting for this plan to vote against that.

Not that acasual events can't happen in PMMM because what even is time, but theoretically Sabrina can only be an angel if Madokami exists since angels only exist once she made them. If we are in canon loop 100 (or 101 as the case may be) angels don't exist as a concept yet. Of course then we get into the question of if we are the incarnation of someone's wish with the power of a god we might be a demigod instead.

Oops... that's... a good point actually.

"Yeah,oh," Kyouko says,
"Yeah, oh
"Your hammer, my spear, no magic, no fancy weapon tricks. That means I don't use the chains, and you don't... do you even do any special techniques with your hammer?"

"... alright?" you say. "Uh. Does throwing my hammer count for a special technique? I don't... yeah, stuff like turning it into a polearm or something, sure, but I don't really do much else with my hammer. I do hit harder with it than its actual mass should?"
Didn't she manipulate the size of the head before in one of the warehouse visits? And then increased the weight without changing the mass?
"So... are we done,Kyouko?"
done, Kyouko?"
"But in a serious fight? Use those damn wings," Kyouko says. "Use your magic, throw Grief around. Your hammer's there for whatever gets close, but y' should be avoiding that. An' I'm not saying you can't learn proper skills with that hammer, I'm saying you're not there yet, and if you gotta get serious, use what you've got."
Wrap the hammer in grief and then augment your swings with it. Or even telekinetic flying hammer it.

Is Sabrina a Buteo than?
Nah, Sabrina's definitely not a hawk or buzzard of any kind. If anything, she'd be a crow of some kind. Friendly, social, talkative, smart.

Yeah, but Sabrina doesn't really use hammer tricks in the course of her fighting unless she's making a specific point of doing it.

"Ah, yes... looks like it translates to - complete with stutter - 'W-Women p-p-pretty', and several lines of damaged text later 'May Kyubey rot in the realm of the dead'? Huh."

Buteo are also an obscure fantasy race of winged humanoids, but the way you describe Sabrina she sounds like a Tengu. One of the kinder kinds, but still a Tengu.

Voynich manuscript and Linear A are the first two which spring to mind. Both seem like they could plausibly be associated with historical magical girls somehow or other.
The Voynich manuscript is very likely to have just been someone's personal cipher, so if Sabrina is able to translate that, then it means her facility with languages is some sort of fundamental translation capability, rather than just knowing the languages -- which is a useful thing to nail down, if so!

It might be loop 102 if you take that one wog to be canon is loop 100 and Homura's assertion that that loop happened but Madoka's wish was different and then Sabrina's notice that Homura's shield is in the wrong orientation for that leading her to think either Madoka's wish is what rewound time or there was another timeline before this one that isn't being accounted for.

Madokami is in play.
Sabrina turns. Still unchanged, after millenia, after eons, her blue eyes meet a pair of golden ones framed by long, flowing pink hair. She smiles.

"Huh. How are you here, anyway?"

Madoka shrugs sheepishly, a radiant smile lighting up her face. "I will once have erased my own Witch and myself from existence. I may will never have actually done it, but I did."
Magic ain't gotta explain shit.

Maybe we should try channeling our inner weeb/Star wars nerd? Perhaps we have to avoid practical fighting to tap into instincts from our imagination? I wonder if we could do an in-between as some have suggested by just trying to put all our focus on our weapon, or like something to saturate our thinking mind so it can't fully follow what's happening? Or feelings of excitement or whatever one feels when fighting?

This vote option gave me some funny ideas:
