I still think we should include the part where we talk about our attempts to bring in therapists and legal professionals, if only to reduce his worries about everything resting solely on the sholders of teenagers, but I can see when I've been outvoted.
I have no strong feelings either way, but if we do decide to emphasize that we're looking for adults then we should definitely mention the adult meguca we have a meeting scheduled with in a couple days.

He's already aware we got other responsible adults in the know and that we're planning to continue to inform concerned parents.
Instead of just repeating the same points again, maybe get him in touch with the Shizukis - they probably talked among themselves on what to do in more concrete terms already.

But can we add that he probably should keep Nagisa especially close during Kaiju fight? I really, really paranoid we'd get another Sayaka incident. Personally, I'd rather be safe paranoic...

That's… ok yeah that's a great point. All the magical girls nearby will be occupied by the big kaiju fight, thinking about it, that's the perfect time for the white rat to gaslight more girls into magical girls, especially if doing so would hurt us.

I think we can trust him to figure out that evacuating a city for a monster attack isn't the time to let his elementary school aged niece run around unsupervised.

There's difference between supervising someone and literally gluing to your side. He cant even see Kyubey so 5 minutes he takes off eyes of Nagisa is plenty of time to get Sayaka'd.

For Shin, I think that's covered under, "Be out of the city on the 30th".

True, but not something we can do anything about , whatsoever. There are going to be girls freaking out during the fight, and you know very well it's going to make as many wishes as possible to capitalize on that.

"Oh man my friends all fighting giant Witch back home, I Wish I could've helped them!"

This is literally just my paranoia spike fueled by Sayaka incident; most likely nothing really would happen. But on small off chance Kyubey try some shit, I would rather apologise for being a bit... pushy later than have another girl with her Soul ripped from her body.

I'm sure he is more worried about this than you are.
Yeah, I have my doubts he understands just how easy Kyubey could slip through

Look it worth us literally nothing to add that during Walpurgis fight he better off always being near Nagisa so she wont just Wish to get to battle. He might realise its a real possibility. He might not. I'd rather say literally one sentence and have this covered than Nagisa later popping in the middle of the fight.

He has all the relevant information that you do.
...

The word "Wish" was said literally once

They catalyze Wishes for girls, and in turn, they... harvest magic from our souls. They steal power from us at the moment of our becoming magical girls, and over time after that

And in such context Shin might not even consider that Incubators could grant said Wishes. And that Wishes could be anything at all including teleporting into active battlefield.

He also doesnt know that "ritual" takes like a minute or two

He, in fact, does not have all relevant information.

How many times do you believe the word "wish" needs to be said to satisfy your shadowruns?
???????????????????????????????????????

We literally explained the barest of minimum, what the hell is wrong with explaining things - especially very relevant things - properly? State your reasons instead of just refusing because you feel like it.

Well, for one, you only just started advocating for explaining things, instead of telling him to keep an eye on Nagisa during Walpurgisnacht.

And, for two, as already mentioned, we just gave him a speech about how his recently dead sister's daughter is being stalked by an invisible predator. Now is not the time to openly question whether or not he can figure out that he should keep an eye on her during an evacuation.

Hm so you saying you didnt understood what I meant until I elaborate on it further? Interesting.

He knows nothing about how said invisible predator operates aside from, again, the bare minimum ergo he doesnt know which tricks said predator could pull off. Since we are talking about Walpurgis anyway (per your proposition) we might as well explain how this situation is dangerous beyond obvious Kaiju in the sky.

"By the way, Incubator grants Wishes in literal sense, he is master of social manipulations and whole ritual takes a minute or so. You might not want to leave Nagisa without supervision by at least one adult for long because she can Wish to help us and appear in the middle of the battle."

This incredibly long and utterly unnecessary warning surely will give us -10000 reputation with Shin.

Who says she'll even know something is going on? She's young enough that Shin keeping her distracted is a simple task.

Kyubey could just tell her though.

You know actually if we get perception filters working we could just give her one. Assuming people are still interested in this project or, like, remember it at all.

Just want to note that we did tell Nagisa that if she meets a Kyuubey to tell us immediately and not agree to anything it says.
That was remarkably fast, you muse. Then again, her uncle probably didn't tell her the full details. "Oh, that's good," you say. "Hey, listen," you add as you walk further away from Mami, hoping she doesn't hear you - wouldn't do to remind her, after all. "Do you remember what I said about a talking white cat?"

"Huh?" Nagisa says. You can imagine the little tilt of her head accompanying that questioning tone. "Cats can't talk, big sis."

Kids.

"Ah... well, this one can. If a white talking cat with pink eyes and these ribbony tassel things coming out of its ears talks to you," you tell her, "Be careful, OK? Tell me immediately, and don't agree to anything it says."

"O-OK?" Nagisa says, sounding confused. "If you say so."

"Alright," you nod. "Please remember, Nagisa, this is important," you stress, trying to impress the seriousness of the situation upon her.
Though it was 17 days ago and she might've forgotten, still feels like relevant info for this discussion.

the adult meguca we have a meeting scheduled with in a couple days.
Scheduled? I thought it was just a vague ambiguous indeterminate "soon"
"I want to help," you say, echoing Mami's words. "I can't make any promises on when we might be able to drop by, but I'll arrange it with you when practical?"

"Just let me know, Miss Sabrina," Tsubaki says.

"Alright, then," you say. "Have a good night, Miss Mikoto!"

Scheduled.
"Good morning, Miss Tsubaki," Mami says. "If it isn't an imposition, Sabrina and I were wondering if the offer to visit was still open?"

"On Thursday or Friday, perhaps?" you add.

"Ah, I see," Mikoto says. "Just so that we're clear, why would you be visiting?"

"To make your acquaintance," you say, at Mami's prompting look. "To make friends, hopefully."

"That would be nice," Mikoto says. "If possible, I'd prefer Thursday night? I work longer hours on Friday, you see."

"Thursday night, then," Mami says.

"I'll look forward to your visit on Thursday," Mikoto says, her voice finally gaining a touch of warmth. "Until then, Miss Tomoe, Miss Vee."

"Until then!" you say, and grin at Mami as Mikoto ends the telepathic conversation. "That went well."

I recommend checking the wiki if you're not sure about something, especially the day planner. It's a big quest that's been running for a very long time. My quote was three years ago, and yours was six. Forgetting details over that much time is very easy.

Welp I'm glad I have just learned about the wiki before I had to do a bunch of rereads, I mostly know my stuff cause my binge was recently done.

Also I agree with the others when they say we barely talked about the hows of becoming a magical girl, with Wish being mentioned once, and not really in a way to make it clear what a wish means. We said we'd get back to explaining what magic was, but personally, I don't think we really ever did, but honestly I don't think that matters as long as we hammer in the fact that he needs to help teach Nagisa that cabbits are for punting.
