We can use some police interrogation techniques. Blocking Telepathy is a must, to prevent them from coordinating their stories. Unfortunately, the moment we take them out of a TK blocker they can communicate again, which kind of strains logistics.

I forget if our House-guca can prevent TK in her claimed territory?

Also guys, we have a house-guca and a ship-guca, now all we need is a plane-guca.
Are we the plane-guca? We're certainly not a plain-guca, that's for sure. :V

All their friends and family.
Wait, what? All of them? What's even the point of that?

Fuck, we should give them a Clear Seed. Tell them that they don't have to use it if they don't want to, but having an effectively unlimited-use Grief Seed would be a huge help for letting them grieve such an enormous loss if their normal seeds don't cover it.

Question: what are they grieving for? Do we actually know if anyone was killed?
Also being taken hostage, paralyzed and then watching your hostage takers get absolutely dismantled by a bunch of lovely angels would presumably be pretty offputting even if a Meguca is rewired to be less susceptible to posttraumatic stress.

QB: Why in the world would I want to make them less susceptible to PTSD???? :3

More seriously, I thought the reason we let the message send was because we thought the hostages would take a while. Now that we can't do much else for them today, can we just go back to Mitakihara and say things wrapped up quicker than we thought?

Just got caught up.

So, they did take their gems right?

Because we do not need a game of breakout, especially not with teleporters in the mix.

Also, the ex-hostages really need some time. Pushing seems like a bad idea.

Yeah, I'd agree with what @Redshirt Army suggested. They just came from a situation in which they had their autonomy ripped from them in a likely violent manner. We should respect their wishes and let them dictate how the rest of this meeting goes, especially since they've given us permission for Yuki to maintain an outpost in their city. Suggesting we can follow up is probably the most we should push them for now, since it gives them the ability to decide when we meet again; and on their own terms.

Yeah, I don't understand, I thought the vote said to ask about the clear seed, but we didn't explicitly tell them about it.

Then again, they did kinda blow us off when we offered basic cleaning, so maybe there's that. (which, again, I really hope is just from grieving).

By the way, this particular line bugs me:
Ta Kaung Chien blinks, eyes wide. "Uh... we didn't have this many before they attacked," she says.

"TKC," Cho Kaung Sa hisses - her younger sister.
It's clear the younger sister didn't want us to know that not all of the seeds on the platform are from them. Why?

Could it be that she wanted all the seeds to themselves?
