So, I considered this.
The trouble here is that "Kyubey wants us dead" and "Iowa group looks like it is probably allied to Kyubey in some fashion" both breach the standing prohibition on witchbombing Mami (which, although I advocated for doing that several months ago, I now view as abhorrent. Funny how my brain changing does that).
So, Mami will have to wait until the next timestop, unfortunately.
Edit: which is IMO scheduled for right after school and has us read in Mami and Sayaka, and possibly Oriko and Kirika.

No they don't. They have less to do with the Witchbomb than Homura's backstory does and we got through that fine. The first is mostly a result of us keeping Madoka from wishing, and the second needs no explanation because Kyuubey is the Bad Guy. In any case, Mami's shown that she can accept "infohazard, do not touch" warnings.

Mami should be witchbombed eventually, hopefuly soon, after Sayaka has been bombed and is able to provide additional emotional support
Edit: I feel I should elaborate, mami is a lot more stable now than she was a few weeks ago, she's already gone through a lot of the horrible revelations that have been thrown her way, and while the witchbomb will definitely hurt, I don't think it would be nearly as soul crushing, especially with the knowledgr that we are working on fixing it
We have a true Comunity now, mami can rely on us, all of us, she knows about the loops, she knows about our metaknowledge, she knows about souls and kyubey

I'm toning down the possibility of Kyuubey being their clairvoyant; it's an explanation that's back to relying on him deliberately feeding them info and I've detailed my issues with that before. The creature with a poor grasp of (and even arguable disdain for) human priorities and emotional reactions advising others in strategies based on human priorities and emotional reactions just seems... off.
(Though, yes, I have other reasons on record too: part of it is that it just feels too much like something that would arise by working backwards from the most dramatic option.)

I think it's important to discuss with Homura how if Iowa strikes at lynchpins in defending cities using some sort of information gathering ability, HOMURA is the priority target. In discussion we just pointed out how important she is to our response in emergencies. She's literally the backbone of our ability to respond to threats, who if present can organize a full defensive response literally immediately.
Like, if I was planning a surprise alpha strike on Mitakihara to demoralize and paralyze the defenders and I had even just a bare summary of people's abilities (from "Information Gathering Ability"), knowing I'd only get the one attack in before surprise is lost, any plan that doesn't hit Homura is straight up ignored. Madoka might be at risk as a tool to pin Homura down, but any attacking force must neutralize Homura if they don't want to face the entire Mitakihara magical girl force while also having lost the initiative.

One that does not know losing Mami would make the thread freak out so bad it would make Sabrina witchout.
Homura and Sabrina are major targets, since if you have info from fluffface then you might know taking Sabrina out might remove Mami [though it could also remove Homura as she just resets at that point]. Homura provides time stop while Sabrina has cleansing making her a critical logistical node basically.

The point is, the interests and actions line up too nicely between Iowa and Kyubey for a reasonable person to DISBELIEVE the statement that "It is too likely to not be acted upon, that Iowa and Kyubey will cooperate to screw us over, and have cooperated to screw others over in the past."
So let me propose an entirely different wording, then.
