Reminder that according to Magireco, Sayaka handles the Witchbomb SUPER well as long as she has a Quest to do (in that example, saving Mami from a cult). I think we should encourage Homura to talk to Sayaka and then try to see how Sayaka takes it before Witchbombing her.

...Also, yeah, Mami probably is thinking about the Witchbomb, for exactly the reasons @Andmeuths said, combined with the fact that Sabrina wished for Grief powers and can do Witch things. Beyond the obvious similarities, she knows us better than anyone except maybe Homura, and has to have wondered, "Why did she wish for that?"

SO @Redshirt Army VOTES THINGS PLANS YES

UM

Current day planner entry for tomorrow morning said:
- Make priming grief part of the morning routine.
- Feed Aurora IRC memories specifically.
- Meeting scheduled with Fukushima to transfer Rionna
- Probably share contacts lists and discuss Tokyo with Yuki while we're there
- Meet with the Fukushima Mercenaries.
- Discuss dewitching progress.
- Try to therapy Airi.
- Discuss Tokyo in more detail.
- Have Fukushima share their general "contacts list".
- Prep for the Soujus with them?
- Meet with the other Fukushima Groups, distribute Clear Seeds.
- Contact: Ishinomaki, Sendai, Touhoku, Tome, Hozuki. Ensure Sunday visit is on track

Addendums...

We may be witchbombing Sayaka tomorrow. We need to deal with Kyouko tomorrow. We also kind of have to ask Homura about last loop, we really can't afford to put that off any further.

I dunno.

[X] After waking up...
-[X] Do morning things.
--[X] Chat with Mami. Don't bring up srsbsns yourself, let her do it if she wants.
--[X] See if you can't multitask enchanting grief with doing other stuff. If it's awkward, then just stick to enchanting grief when you aren't busy.
---[X] Can you enchant grief without using your hands...?
[X] Go see your friends. Walk to school.

"And I appreciate that," you say, and slip an arm around her waist. She leans into the hug, smiling. "But, er... among other things, my account is probably going to have a lot of... weird deposits and withdrawals?" You hold your other hand up and flip it to display a bar of gold pulled from hammerspace.

Everyone that bought futures in gold: *cries*
Japanese Finanical Fraud team - WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT

... you also have somewhat more vague notions of building a treehouse in Madoka's back yard so that Homura would have somewhere to perch while stalking Madoka standing watch at the Kaname residence, but you're not sure that's actually a good idea. The elder Kanames might disapprove.

.... invisible tree house DUH

"That's- that's good. I really like you, too," Mami murmurs, eyes huge. She trails off, and buries her head against your side, trying to burrow closer. She looks up at you and smiles at you like you're everything. "You bring joy to my life."

OMG! JUST MOVE IN TOGE...oh wait....

also the Americans are a bunch of god damn NERDS!

I love it.... clearly we need to take Mami out to Arizona for some Mexican and a business trip.

So, when it comes to vote plans, I've been thinking about how to approach our Fukushima for a few months, and I want to lay it out.

First off, I want to take time in the morning to:

[]Enchant grief preparation for devices that may be needed during the meeting. Privacy- and otherwise.

Then there's the things we'll want to do while we're there:

[]Drop off Rionna,
[]Share contact Info, especially regarding people's lich- and witchbomb status,
[]Gain info on the Soujos,
[]Fill Tsuruya in on our plans RE: dewitching
[]Talk to Anri about dewitching.

The first two I think don't need expansion.

As to the third, the Fukushima group are mercenaries, and so are likely to be well traveled enough to have heard of the Soujo sisters. Of all the people we know, they're likely to be the best source of information on the matter, especially if the sisters are anything like mercenaries rather than random crazies.

Regarding the fourth point, is the fact that we've not told Tsuruya Yuki about our dewitching plans. That oversight seems kind of important given how crazy and dangerous such attempts have been in the past. Especially since she's both our ally and those same plans are the reason why Anri agreed to remain under guard in the first place.

As such, I think we should take the time to address her concerns, and offer to include her in the discussion.

It may also be worth asking if she can prevent Kyuubey evesdropping.

Onto the talk itself, I feel like Anri's noted instability could well be a problem, and its one I'm not quite sure how to work around.

My thoughts are to essentially talk to her about what we've learned, what we intend to try, what kinds of pitfalls we expect, and how she wants to go forwards (namely, whether she wants to start trying to dewitch Yuuri now in hopes that what we've learned clear seeds are the way forwards or wait until we actually know what we're doing,) but I've been hemming and hawing over it for... a while.

[X] After waking up...
-[X] Do normal morning things.
-[Q] Listen to Durga, Anna.
--[X] Chat with Mami. Don't bring up srsbsns yourself, let her do it if she wants.
--[X] See if you can multitask while enchanting grief. If it's awkward, instead stockpile enchanted grief during SCIENCE.

[X] Walk to school with your friends.
-[X] Have fun chatting. Fill everyone else in on your schedule, and invite them shopping on Saturday morning.

[X] Contact Yuki to confirm your meeting. Ask if it'd be possible to meet with the other Fukushima groups afterwards.
-[X] Contact the Shiogama refugees and ask if you could meet with them this afternoon.

[X] SCIENCE!
-[X] Set a timer.
--[X] Analyze your grief in more detail - can you sense who a given piece of grief came from, or what unhappy thoughts produced it?
---[X] Try to enchant something to store emotional grief directly - something along the lines of a bittersweet memento.
-[X] With any spare time, continue feeding Clear Seeds hope.

Here's my vote, @Kaizuki .

I do agree with @The Phoenixian about how we should handle the meeting, especially about informing Yuki about dewitching - but I don't think we'll get to that next update.

Okay, so... thinking about the schedule in more detail, today we'll be attending Sayaka's training after school. We can't really beg off - we left Kyouko on a pretty huge unresolved note, which we need to address today.

So... what can we do for Mami, for this evening? We didn't attend Wednesday's session, and on Monday we left Mami with a bunch of her friends, including Kazumi.

Maybe we should ask Homura to spend some time with Mami after school, given current revelations? Whatever we come up with, we might want to mention it in this upcoming update.

@Kaizuki , @Godwinson , @The Phoenixian , @AuraTwilight any ideas?

We should step on it like we're making wine.
Maybe we should ask Homura to spend some time with Mami after school, given current revelations?
Madoka and Hitomi are also options, but I think they might be the only ones? The Animators are out, she's only cordial with the Kures, we don't want to impose on the refugees, and asking Nagisa to keep Mami company while we're busy would be weird.

Its been said before, and bears repeating with current events. Mami has all the pieces to put the Witch Bomb together herself.

Its a question of her looking at how we act, how Magical Girls are framed, and asking what idea would be bad enough that it frightens us to share.

"Your soul isn't a rock. Its an egg"

We should discuss with Homura how to present it, probably after Sayaka decides.

I'm on board with Homumami bonding time. Mami would understand that we've got shit to do.

Just sic'er on Homu. Simplest thing in the world, and it gives those two a chance to talk without needing us as a middlewoman. Hell, I'd advocate for it even if we weren't looking to set her up with something while we're out. Homura has a clear seed, we can remind Mami that Homura doesn't into social if we want to be super careful, but honestly if those two literally end up talking in that tree in Madoka's yard together, it's a big win for us.

Timing is perfect too. Gives her the day to mull the time travel.

Hmm. While we're discussing what to do next update, I'd like to make a proposal:

Operation Infinite Chibi

We know, for a fact, that Chibi Sabrina is able to enchant grief.

We know, for a fact, that enchanting grief does not take up all of our concentration - we're able to do it "in the background".

And we know, for a fact, that enchanted grief can be used to make a Chibi Sabrina.

By combining these facts, we should be able to reach a powerful synergy.

Step One - Preparation

First, we should enchant enough grief to create a single chibi, and place that chibi in our hammerspace, along with a large supply of grief.

For our own comfort, we should swallow a large amount of air within a hollow bubble of grief, then place the chibi inside the bubble - possibly along with a chemical light source.

Step Two - Replication

Our chibi should, as a first priority, enchant enough grief to create a second chibi. These two chibis should then enchant another chibi each, and so on. We will thus quickly attain exponential growth. I would suggest capping the number of chibis at somewhere around a quarter of our total grief volume.

Step Three - The Payoff

It could be said that having an army of chibis ready to be deployed at a moments notice is its own reward, but there are other things this can be used for. Specifically, with so many chibis in hammerspace, we should be able to fairly quickly enchant the entire remaining volume of our grief, thus having a massive stockpile of "primed" grief ready to create whatever esoteric effects we might need.

Since we'll have so much enchanted grief to work with, it should be trivial to create light fixtures, furniture, wall decorations, etc, to make an entirely pleasant workspace for our chibis in hammerspace.

Because enchanted grief doesn't feel nearly as witchy as normal griefhax, and because we can displace this in the ana or kata direction, the social costs should be minimal.

By continuing to invest more magic into enchanted grief, thus extending its duration, and replacing any chibis as their enchantments wear out, we should be able to maintain this system in perpetuity.

Thoughts?

Another secret we have to keep from Mami, because if she finds out about the chibi sweatshop she'll want to see them all and if she's exposed to that much Sabrina at once she'll overload.

[X] SCIENCE!
-[X] Set a timer.
-[X] See if enchanted grief plebs to Elsa Maria. Do NOT feed her magic first.
-[X] Feed Aurora your thoughts of yesterday. See if she reacts to anything in particular, especially your time on the IRC.
--[X] See if you can convey sight and sounds through magic.
--[X] Try to convey, through both magic and gentle words, that you're trying to help her.

Points:
- At this point, the pleb test won't work on Hildegard, but we may be able to try using Elsa Maria for a control instead. I don't like doing it this way, not clearing Elsa Maria presents an unaccounted variable, but I think it's important to falsify the possibility it presents.

- We should take the to consider how we feed Aurora, instead of just feeding her. @Godwinson made a point last time we talked earlier about how to chime in with Aurora, and what to say. Specifically, to convey that we're trying to help.

I have a hard time reading what you're actually trying to make with the latter vote here, but I'd like to focus a bit more clear seeds and dewitching adjacent stuff this session:

We should be spending this time clearing up approaches we'll be using in the update after.

For myself, I'm tempted to test if we can use enchanted grief to produce, but not tranced effects, (and a bunch of stuff we didn't get to during the enchantment session) but that would be a bit hypocritical of me to include here, and we can do it in flight.

Okay, so... thinking about the schedule in more detail, today we'll be attending Sayaka's training after school. We can't really beg off - we left Kyouko on a pretty huge unresolved note, which we need to address today.

Well, in any of those events, she should be spending time with someone.

So, brute forcing it in order of sensibility of we've got:
Any combination of Madoka, Homura, Hitomi, and possibly Kyousuke? (If he's released today and not next week.)
The Shiogama girls.
Oriko and Kirika (Probably a bad idea, but possible.)
The Archery club. :V

But yeah, of these I think Mami and Homura spending time together is the best option. The only thing I have to add that others haven't is to keep in mind that spending time with Madoka too as well may come as part of the package. Who may notice any sudden change in their relationship.

Nonzero risk that this ends up at a barrier full of familiars.
