One thing I think we should remember when revealing secrets to Mami and Homura is that their psyches are quite glass like. Their minds can withstand a lot of pressure for a fairly long period of time, but a sufficiently sudden and heavy* impact can cause their psyches to shatter completely.

*Heavy in this case referring to negative and/or world shattering events/reveals.

I'm pretty sure this is a legit way to escape the Incubators. They just don't want your soul anymore, for some reason.

They probably think that contracting you will inevitably hasten the heat death of the universe, considering what you did with your innocent cup of tea.

I've been thinking of which DnD classes the Megucas in the show would correspond to ( aside from lich Mages, of course )
Here's what I got:
Sayaka is a Paladin, duh ( But in our quest she respecs into an OP munchkin Fighter/Mage )
Kyouko is a Barbarian ( because she only ever has soft drinks )
Mami is a Ranger
Homura is a Sorceress/Ranger dual class, with a High Priestess of Madokami Prestige Class thrown in for a good measure, until she usurps her Domains of Cycles and Lesbian Girls and casts her down
Madoka is a Peasant Cleric
And Sabrina comes from another edition, so she's a Herald

I've remembered that there were some D&D PMMM cosplay pics somewhere, but I can't find them and my Google Fu is weak
Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can find them?

PMAS Sayaka isn't very much like a paladin in terms of mechanics, to be honest. It'd be tricky to capture that kind of copy ability in general, really. Maybe some sort of Spellthief/Factotum/Master of Masks build could work? Canon Sayaka is more of a Crusader, I think, what with ignoring injuries and focusing on self-heal in combat.

When it comes to time shenanigans, Ardent is my go-to, so that's what I'd base Homura's build off of. (She can pick up an overpowered "Madokami" mantle for wraith arc).

Kyouko doesn't really do the "barbarian rage" thing. I'd probably do Warblade with a one-level Cleric dip for her, to symbolize her lost past. (Clearly she used to have Trickery devotion to make her illusory duplicates, but doesn't anymore.)

Mami is clearly a damage focussed Sorcerer. The muskets are just theming on force effects for her mailman build.

And Madoka is a Kobold, because she does the Pun-Pun trick. :V

I think Mami is an archetypal Ranger tho
She has ( had ) a Ranger pet that we ran off
The fucker shouldn't have been so useless in actual combat

Mmm, maybe. It's just that Sayaka never really had a chance or inclination to heal anyone other than herself in canon.
That makes her a Blackguard, lol.
