Quite alright, and I think I mostly agree with you anyway: sooner or later we're going to have to trust someone in Europe, in China, in India, in the Americas, and so on and so on to not just use clear seeds responsibly themselves, but to make judgement calls on other meguca to distribute them to. I'm just not sure if that someone should be Rionna, and I'm not sure 'she's here now, and doesn't seem immediately hostile or murderous' is sufficient reason to make that decision yet. But then again, how long do we wait? Chances are there are at least half a dozen magical girls around the world who have witched out from lack of greef sids that we could have saved if we'd been more aggressive with outreach, recruitment and distribution. Great power, great responsibility and all that. It's a dilemma.

She is here right now, though, and can potentially be very helpful with our most important projects. That by itself is no reason to trust her with any sensitive information, of course, but we do have an opportunity to get to know her better. Involving her in the dewitching project, or fixing Oriko's soul, gives us an opportunity to do that, but we also need to offer something return - be it more trust, answers, a Clear Seed, or some other unique service. I don't think we have enough time to play things too conservatively here, nor does it seem like a good approach tactically, given Riona's personality. She'd probably appreciate us honestly saying that we have a theory as to how we came to be, but don't trust her enough yet to share, as opposed to carefully dancing around the topic.

Of all the times to not know Gaelic. Hijiri would have inherited enough smarts to be study English for Science reasons but trying to fake Gaelic before a western girl she didn't know was a Polyglot might have been enough to trip her up.

I think this is OK in general, though might want to address the soul stealing/example thing first... Of course, this is making Riona wait on us answering her question, but she might not mind too much if she's actually after infinite cleansing.
